Thanks for doing this. My Mavic Air unexpectedly dropped into the sea this morning. I had to wait until the tide had gone out before I could look for it. I found it but it was covered in sand and also has sand on the inside and in the motors and other moving parts. I'm going to try to repair it but if I can't then I'll sell the parts as spares or repair.

Don't You need to unscrew 2 screws behind the gimbal to get top cover off?

Mine didn't have screws either. I looked at other vids which showed people undoing screws and I was scratching my head wondering why I couldn't find any. Then I came across this vid. DJI must have changed it slightly so some have screws and others don't.

Very detailed. I just could not take the shaky cam effect. I am currently using your audio while watching a German dude take one apart ...

------>>> I had the same issue. Guess how I fixed it....I have hit it few times by the door frame exactly where the IMU is. I only had to calibrate the compass after all. All errors gone now! Worth checking before dismantle. I suppose it was just the cable that got loose where the IMU is or shock reset it... Anyway - try this first!

If you are referring to the 2 screws for the top in the gimble compartment, mine did not have those. I think they must have changed the design somewhere along the line.
