I also love Funeral Doom Metal (such as Evoken, Skepticism, Shape of Despair, Funeral...) but I don't consider this "subgenre" (no puns intended) or "genre" to be better or not. I like to think there is place for everyone...and also I like to think there are moments for each style in life or even within a day...Cheers !

Christ Goodbye is such a perfect song. I bought this CD the very first week it was released and I have probably listened to Christ Goodbye over 1,000 times, not joking. It's perfect from start to finish, the atmosphere, everything. This album and Martyre are masterpieces, but really everything they've done is very good! Impressive band, always focused on quality over quantity. A treasure to listen to.

An absolute masterpiece! Been listing to metal for decades - and just discovered this band.... This is one of those where, you put on your headset, lay back and listen - and analyze lol! So much happening there, musically and lyrically, it’s pretty incredible! Love it!

Fantastic video (and audio)! Saturnus is simply the best doom metal band that ever walked this Earth. They enter with their B material (admit it, they have even better songs, far better) and they simply slay it! Also, huge kudos to Armenian government, organizations and people for making this happen.
