This week Archie is joined by man of the moment aka The Bosh King aka Thomas Skinner.

it won't ruin the economy as generally speaking people spend their money rather than taking it to the grave.. it's likely to shift the economy and that is why some people are annoyed (and it is another potential kick in the teeth for the highstreet), because less money on travel, coffees, lunch, smart office/work clothing will be spent. That just means people will spend it on other stuff so there is opportunity within the economic market. Some people feel we should be dictated to on how we spend our money, so the 'economy'/certain business sectors don't suffer. I'm sorry but that's not how capitalist societies work; it's demand driven!

This exactly. I'm not exactly pro capitalism, and yet I'm having to explain to capitalists how their own system works.
They all harp on about survival of the fittest, but their attitude seems to change when it turns out maybe they themselves are not the fittest
