    Magnificent expressions that have a true meaning👏🏼. We have some similar ones in our language, like "Don’t give up" = "No te rindas"" "Finger crossed" = "Crucemos los dedos" "You can do it "=" Tu puedes hacerlo" and some others with more or less the same meaning.
    I guess that most of us many times have had the opportunity to encourage some relative or friend in our environment. I think a great example of encouragement at the present time is that many rulers are doing their best shot to vaccinate as many people as possible in the shorter time they can. They are all following their dream because we all know that there´s a light at the end of the tunnel 🎆✨. Your way of teaching is a good example that you are following your dreams. Have a happy weekend. 🌹

      @JeNsJyugyou  3 роки тому

      Hello Nimish 😎. Thanks for your request. Adjectives describe a noun such as a person, place, animal, or thing. Adjectives must go in front of the noun that they are describing or after the ‘be’ verb (am, are, is, was, were). Sometimes adjectives also come after sense verbs such as look, sound, smell, taste, and feel.
      Actually, I've already created a few lessons about adjectives which you might enjoy:

    Do you want to hear some Dutch sayings and expressions? Try to figure out what they mean... (use Google translate and try to guess what it is?) 😅
    1. Dat slaat als een tang op een varken.
    2. Een kat in de zak kopen.
    3. Iets kopen voor een appel en een ei.
    4. Iemand met een kluitje in het riet sturen.
    5. Van het kastje naar de muur.
    6. Water naar de zee dragen.
    7. Een slag om de arm.
    8. Vinger aan de pols.
    9. Het is honden weer.
    10. In zak en as zitten.

    • @JeNsJyugyou
      @JeNsJyugyou  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Jafeth 😁 Thanks for your very unique comment. I quickly input these expressions into Google translate, but the translations literally made no sense whatsoever 😅. My guess is that they are Dutch idioms, and idioms usually don't translate very well into other languages...

    • @JafethPeeters
      @JafethPeeters 3 роки тому

      @@JeNsJyugyou you are absolutely right. If you translate it, it makes no sense.
      But these are the meanings:
      1. That doesn’t make any sense.
      2. Buying something for way too much. It was a bad deal.
      3. When you buy something for an apple 🍏 and a egg 🥚, it means that you payed a very good price for something. It is a good deal. The product was very cheap.
      4. Sending someone away with some kind of weak excuse. You want to get rid of that person for a while.
      5. This happens when you don’t get what you want or ask. For example; you call the city hall to solve a problem, but they keep sending you to an other person, and that person transfers you to a thirty party and so on... you won’t reach your goal.
      6. Bringing water towards the sea, means that you are very busy with useless work. Effort with no end to it. You’ll never finish it and it is pointless.
      7. It means that you didn’t make a decision yet, you are thinking it over. Or you want to have something done, but you are not paying the whole amount at ones, you keep some money until the job is done or ready to your satisfaction. You say yes to something, but adding an exception to it. For example; We are going out to eat, except if I have to work.
      8. Vinger on the pols means that you don’t give in. You make a stand and are observing and monitoring every step to make sure it will go the way you want it.
      9. It’s doggy weather means that it is really bad weather (even a dog wouldn’t go outside in this weather).
      10. This saying comes from the Bible, it means that you are very depressed. Don’t see a way out, are completely sad or mourning. Or you are extremely humble.
      (Dan. 9:3 So I turned my face to Jehovah the true God, entreating him in prayer, along with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.)

    'couple of 2 days and couple of 2 week' what does it mean these words, when a foreigner use these words in own sentence.

    • @JeNsJyugyou
      @JeNsJyugyou  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Ravi 😎. Thanks for your question. A 'couple' means 2, so it is unnatural for someone to say 'a couple of 2 days.' What native speakers would actually say is "a couple of days" which means approximately 2 days. "A couple of weeks' means around 2 weeks.
      So for example, I recently bought something online and my husband asked me how long it would take to arrive. The confirmation email said it would take about 10 business days so I answered, "Oh, it should get here in a couple of weeks." Another example would be the fact that today is Tuesday and I have to return my library book on Friday. I would say, "My library book is due in a couple of days."
      I hope that helps 🤗

      To use this expression you start with "A couple of" + a countable plural noun. As a time clause you can use this expression at the very beginning or very end of your sentence. When talking about a couple of actual items, it should go directly in front of the object of the sentence
      For example: My birthday is in a couple of days.
      I've had bad wrist pain for a couple of months now.
      My best friend has been married for a couple of years.
      In a couple of years from now I want to travel to England.
      For a couple of hours we've had no power due to the storm.
      In a couple of years I hope to finish the book I've been writing.
      He ate a couple of hotdogs for lunch.
      There were a couple of problems with the subway this morning.
      I took out a couple of books from the library.
      @Nimish choudhary I hope that helps 🤗
