      @@athiraka5346 I'm alright, thank you for asking. I hope that you are doing well. I had never heard of Malayalam until now. I searched about it online and listened to some songs in your language. I obviously didn't understand the lyrics, but the songs were rather unique and nice. ☺️Thank you for sharing. By the way, I think the best way to express your favourite genre of music is 'ballads'. So you can say, "I like listening to ballads" (rather than saying 'melody songs'). 🎼

    I think collocation number 18 "time out" is not all about children, managers set a time out for their projects so the contractor does the job in a certain segment of time.

    Your delightful videos make it worthwhile to spend our free time to see them with priority. They are one hundred percent didactic and, in my opinion, your gestures and the movement of your arms, that is, your body language, help us understand your explanations with more precision and enthusiasm, since they are accurate and easy to understand. Keep up the great work. Thanks.

    Hi Jen, I also expect that you will teach us “bide time”..

    • @JeNsJyugyou
      @JeNsJyugyou  3 роки тому

      Hello Keith ☺️ Thanks for your comment. I didn't want to have too many collocations in one lesson because then it might be tough for people watching to remember them all.
      However, biding time is a good example as well. Although, to be honest I don't really hear people using the expression 'bide time' that often. I usually hear it in older songs and movies. To bide time means to wait patiently for a good opportunity to do something.
      The lyrics to one of the songs in the Gershwin musical 'Crazy For You' perfectly reviews the meaning of the expression, (and since reading your comment these lyrics are now stuck in my head,) so I will share them with you:
      But I'm bidin' my time
      'Cause that's the kind of guy I'm
      While other folks grow dizzy
      I keep busy
      Bidin' my time
      Next year, next year
      Somethin's bound to happen
      This year, this year
      I'll just keep on mappin'
      And bidin' my time
