Cleaning out Heifer Barns - Hauling Pen Pack Manure

Video of a local farm near my house as they clean out a barn where they raise Holstein (Dairy) Heifers. In this video they are using a John Deere 323E track skid steer loader to dig dig the pen packed manure out of the barn and load it into Hagedorn manure spreaders. Pulling the Hagedorn manure spreaders is a John Deere 7810 and 8300 tractors.

Really nice old timber frame barn , nice to see it maintained an in use , skidder driver is doing good job to dodge the poles and save the walls !!! Bet the old barn could tell some stories of the young pitch fork operaters that have been in there !!! Thanks for the video !

From the Upper Galilee. Wow.! Brings back some good memories. Preparing a field for planting an orange plantation in1970, on a little Massy Ferguson pulling a spreader half the size of those giants. We could never spread fast enough and get back in time to stop the loader getting impatient. Satisfying job though. You always felt good at the end of the day, looking at the field which had already been disc-ploughed.
