I've been drawing since I was 2 and I'm 30 now and even when I look back at art from when I was 18 I feel like I haven't improved. In some areas I have but in most areas I actually like my old art better 😱 I always say I'm gonna give up drawing but I just keep going for some reason. u.u This is inspiring though thank you for sharing, I love your art and vidoes!

And you're right that artstyle will changes throughout many years, as mine, my 2017 drawing was super super different than my current one, even in this year, my artstyle in January compared to the one in March, although just 2 months gap, it's really have many changes and i believe that you'll always improve something.. just you wouldn't notice it right away😂
Anyways, i always inspired by many artists.. and from you, i really have a desire to starts inking and colouring my drawings.. like all your sketchbooks you've showed us in the sketchbook tour videos. Maybe i need few years more but I'll wait.
I've stopped drawing like on last month because im getting a bit deep depression but only for a week, i really wanna die for forcing myself to not drawing something. Urgh it's still haunted me.. from that, i am aware that I WON'T STOP DRAWING ANYMORE BECAUSE IT WILL GIVE ME NIGHTMARES XD

I focused soo much on drawing the face and eyes and hair, that I would never want to draw the body because I already knew that would mess the whole drawing up. I will take your advice and try to draw realistically and learn about anatomy so then I can get better at drawing bodies😅✌

Hey tam, Do you draw more than people to improve? I mean... i only draw faces and bodies.. like... i feel like i can draw a perfect eye but i can't draw a damn door. What do you do to improve? Drawing more background? Or drawing from life? Using internet? OR DO THEY IMPROVE WITH YOUR SKILLS? I'm not tam but if you wanna get better at drawing other things than just people, you gotta practice them. Of course the better you are at using refs for people, the better you're gonna be with using refs for objects

I used to draw so much and paper was everywhere so last year I took pictures of all those papers and threw them out. The next week my phone broke and all my photos were lost :/
My style has fluctuated a lot but never felt good enough or natural. Drawing is hard :p I wish I had drawn into sketchbooks like you instead of drawing on random bits of paper

I just realized I'm the same age LOL but I pulled a you as well. I made my style up before actually studying and uhhh it's hard XD but honestly, it's rather fun. You've improved so much and it only makes me want to improve even further >:3 but I totally agree. Never throw out your old art!
