Assalam aleikum Abdurahman. Hope you are fine inshALLAH. I went to Egypt for 40days, madinaty city on March 2024. Alhamdulilah beautiful and very organised place mashALLAH. Little bit expensive too🫣. But I get the impression that I was in Europe 😂 not in real Cairo. Unfortunately I went to old Cairo only 2 times. And didn't get the chance to explore that side due to traffic and also people said in Ramadan time the traffic is worst there. I would like to see one video exploring that side in Ramadan time if possible
@@nailafaquir4543 Wa alaikum assalaam, glad you had a nice time in Egypt. Yes, Madinaty is definitely on the pricier side but as you said very clean, organised, and modern. Thanks for the video suggestion!
Can you make a video about banking in Egypt and how expats who live in society security or pension can have a monthly transfer from their home land. What's required in Egyptian financial system for staying permanently without the need to work
Btw if you’re gonna take a taxi make sure to tell the guy to have the “Addad” on which is a counter. So that the price you pay is fair. But please just get an uber
Salam u alykom brother. Thanks for the advice. Me from the US and a friend from Canada will be coming to Egypt nasr city to study Arabic in the Nile Center in January. We going to be there for about two months as this is our trial experience. We taking our uni classes online so doing that there. We plan to come back for longer term maybe in a year or two after we finish uni here. We studying at the moment online Arabic Nile Center on zoom then when we arrive go in person. Insh allah
Useful video جزاكم الله خيرا Trying out new Cairo this winter from the uk with wife and 2 kids who we homeschool. Been to Egypt a few time and yes has issues but aligns much better with us than UK which is going down hill! Is Rehab still clean/peaceful? Tip on visas, if you get a tourist evisa from the uk it’s 3 months and the same price
@@naveedraza1640 JazakAllah khair . Rehab is still clean from what I’ve seen , seems pretty busy these days though. Hope all goes well for you all when you come over . BarakAllahu feekum
@@AbdurahmanDigitalI love Egypt, but you can’t live in those buildings man it just feels so cramped being in areas like madinat nasr or worst areas like faisal or giza. New cairo area is way more relaxed and safer
Great video thanks for sharing. One question I had though is what areas around Cairo are known to have the best Internet service and what suggestions do you have to ensure the best connectivity if you have business online?
I'd say most of New Cairo should be okay for connectivity. The main Issue i've found is with the electricity occasionally cutting out so I purchased a backup power pack to keep me online if/when the power cuts, and I keep my laptop fully charged.
@ Good to know. I was considering Tagammu’ Al-Khaamis. Thanks for the insight. A review on the different internet packages based on quality, speed, and coverage area would be a good video to make. I just subscribed.
Egypt is a broken country. And has Nothing to offer. The islam over here is a joke don't fool yourself thinking it's going to be a nice islamic life. New Cairo is also trash as all of Egypt is just covered in plastic and unbehaved people.
Egypt is becoming less tourist feiendly . $25 for 30 day entry visa . After that is a hassle and its just ridiculous compared to other more advanced middle eastern countries.. To do a 6 month visa is crazy and the run around is insane as they want you to use foreign currency .. Now $150 USD.. but there are other paperwork fiascos so for 6 months it is about $230 .. Total rip-off. Very unhappy visitors .. And the so called "currency exchanges" generally now dont work with foregn currency like USD, Euro etc... Better places to go now . Egypt is cheap to live but the archiac bureaucracy is pricy and frustrating.. ..Good luck 😢
Hey, I'm thinking of moving to Egypt to study with my wife and daughter next year, would you be able to help me find apartment etc? I want more luxury apartment, budget is 500$ per month for rent in a clean & secure neighborhood and a 2-3 bedroom villa/apartment.
@@svelterust internet is limited here in Egypt but the best internet package here I think is around 200 mbps but you will pay around 35 dollars for 1 tera and if you used all of this package before 30 days end you will have to pay again to have the service
السلام عليكم It would be helpful if you made a video about working remotely in Egypt. I tried to do it earlier this year without my work knowing and had a horrible experience with internet speed. Especially because I had to use VPN. Let me know or if there is a way I can message you privately

Wow! You seem to be catering to a middle class type of person. There are flats much much cheaper than going to an agent. You get a trusted Egyptian friend who can rent for you in a less glamorous area, and if you pay the whole year upfront the discount is huge!
@@usmaanamin7880 generally pretty safe especially in the newer cities that have gated communities and security etc. You should be cautious with financial dealings with locals as mentioned in the video, better to have a local help you to make sure you’re getting a fair deal.

Every place has its challenges. I left the UK to give my family a lifestyle that aligns with our values. Egypt offers us that, even with its difficulties. Everyone’s journey is different, and this choice works best for us right now.
