Wow! This was a fabulous video...totally loved it! It was pretty neat how y'all met the store owner and his wife who explained all that happened and where he took y'all around to meet the kind locals. The view from the mountain was beautiful. I really enjoyed the awesome underwater shots with the turtles and other sea life. Pretty neat how Gary caught your fresh dinner of lobster! Your private dinner looked like a 5-star dinner that that fella cooked up for you two. Wish I could have enjoyed that dinner with you two. Awesome Video!
Thank you! This is one of our favorite videos. We have such good memories from this area. After you commented, I decided to go back and watch this one. Good memories.
I know right where you were with those turtles. I swam with them in February and did that sunset dinner with the locals too. It was great and the fish on the edge of the beach waiting for the scraps were incredible. Huge Rays. Nice catching up on some of these I missed.
Such an incredible spot, isn't it? The turtles are just too cool! I (Brooke) could have stayed swimming there forever! We appreciate you catching up on some of the videos you missed! Looking forward to meeting you (in-person) at the boat show!

Yes we rent our house on Airbnb, but some disgruntled neighbors have been making that difficult to continue. Managing a rental property from thousands of miles away with limited connectivity is certainly a challenge too. But, it pays the mortgage! What mountain are you near? I used to ski at Jay and Stratton regularly

I am from SVG. Liked your video, glad you had a good time. Btw, using the term "locals" is a bit weird hearing it. If I go to America, I don't refer to the people as locals. Look forward to your next video.
Glad you liked the video! We had an amazing time in SVG. I guess the word "locals" may have a different connotation to some people. We would use in even in the US about people from a different area than us. Thanks for watching! 🤙
Thanks Joe! We got the hammock as a gift but it's from wiseowloutfitters.com we have the double owl for two people. We can tie it to our halyards easily and it's quite durable!
I like your videos and have seen many, but I don't think the resort marina was bad for keeping the black landscaping pots to reuse we don't throw them away you may owe them an apology. And he was nice enough to invite you over, you can find fault anywhere don't look so hard your experience will be better and your videos too. I still plan to watch keep up the good parts.
That would be awesome if that was the case! But they were kind of just thrown all over the place and into the brush. Guess where they end up when a squall with big winds comes through? Really appreciate the comment and you're right about staying positive. I think the disparity between the billion-dollar marina and the locals has us holding the marina to a higher standard.

Hey Tim! Would love to answer your question, we've got lots of info. Any chance you can send us a private message on FB (Sailing One Life) or Instagram (sv_one_life)with your email address? Much easier to send a lengthy response that way!
Seen a good number of your videos now and I cannot recall one time seeing either of you wear the kill-switch to your dingy motor. You will regret this one day.
In all the videos I wonder how the dinghy doesn't get stolen or at least the motor. Like going into town in this one- as downbeat as it was- any reason to be nervous about the dinghy?
Yep, we always lock our outboard to the dinghy and then dinghy to the dock. Depending where we are and the 'vibe' we are feeling at night we will either lock the dinghy to the side of the boat or if feeling a bit unsure, we will hoist it out of the water. If you go to the Caribbean Safety and Security website, you can sign up (for free) for email alerts when crime happens amongst cruisers in the Caribbean. The website also has an archive of info so you can see previous happenings by country. Good info to have!
