    Although I had doubts about buying a replica watch, gussl dispelled my doubts. The watch has an authentic look and feel.

    I had a Omega Seamaster Quartz I purchased back in 2000. Fantastic timepiece. The most I've personally had to do to it was change the battery, making sure to clean the gasket and contact surfaces. Your skill is incredible. I thoroughly enjoyed the video.

    Excellent video man! Love it! I’ve been waiting a long time for someone to do a restoration on this caliber as I have one myself that might need a service down the line. Will definately use your video for reference 😊

    I watched this to try to work out why the calendar on my 751 wasn't working after reassembling the mechanism. I thought I must have made a mistake in the assembly, but in fact I was just turning the crown the wrong way! 😆 When the hands aren't fitted that isn't particularly obvious and you tend to think that the forwards direction (as for winding) if forwards for the hands, but in this watch it's not..

    Do you have to have any idea what would cause one of these to have the rotor ever so slightly rubbing the bridge in one spot?

    • @Karol235
      @Karol235  Рік тому +2

      the rotor axis may be crooked or worn. either one or two of the three screws are unscrewed. They are on the bottom, under the automatic bridge

      @@Karol235 Thank you for that. I'll look into that. The watch has one more very strange issue, maybe you can help with this also. It runs basically perfectly, except for some reason when SAT becomes SUN it loses 1 minute in that process and when FRI becomes SAT it loses 1 minute in that process. All other days it loses about 2 seconds each day.

    How do you clean the movement parts? ultrasonic or spinning 4 stage machine like Elma?

    • @Karol235
      @Karol235  Рік тому +1

      hello to rotary cleaner, 3 steps and drying, machine like elma. escape wheel, pallet, balance spring extra stage. parts should not be washed in ultrasonic, they may be damaged

    Thank you for this great video! I have a similar model and as in your case there seems to be a problem with the crown, I cannot adjust the date. Can you please tell me, what was wrong with your watch? Anyway, I will have it serviced by a professional rather than do it myself 😊

    So the C-case Constellation watches are the hardest to service?

    • @Karol235
      @Karol235  Рік тому

      hello, the shape of the case does not matter. the caliber of the movement is important, this one has a double date and can be changed quickly. there were constellations without a date, with a day of the month and a fast date change, and a double date with a fast change
