Magnifico is supposed to be a monstrous tyrant, but in execution he comes off more as a decent guy who has to make tough decisions and might not always make the best or right one. Asha is meant to be a selfless, brave revolutionary for going against him, but instead she just comes off as an entitled brat who was told no once and stole his job for it.
In a way, Asha was the real villain who turned King Magnifico into a bad guy (but not really though, I mean dude didn't even killed anyone 😐) and none of this wouldn't have happen if she just kept her mouth shut and minded her own business. I feel nothing but sympathy for King Magnifico, he didn't deserve any of this😢. Edit: and Asha is openly a hypocrite when she said no one should have the magic even though by the end of the movie, she becomes the fairy godmother to grand all other people's wishes. Who's the real villain now huh?🧐🤦
@@Reverse-Goku THIS! Her grandfather turned 100 without his wish, and he looked like he could live another 100 years. They gave no good reason for why taking/keeping the wishes was truly horrible, outside of forgetting the wish, and making her one friend drowsy all the time. That's it.
Probably because he originally was a good guy, according to Amaya's VA. Asha, however, lacks a unique personality or nuance. Making her an "old soul"-type or a scholar would've been more beneficial.
Honestly, I feel like the movie would’ve worked far better if he was the main protagonist instead. Heck, I would’ve preferred that this was a 2 to 3 part movie. Where the first movie starts off as a good guy, but because of the pressures of having the power to make wishes, he goes down a darker path, with the first movie ending with him being the villain of the story. The second or third movie could show what he does to the kingdom, and how someone calls calls out for his actions, or maybe even meeting Amaya. Maybe show how he ends up corrupting her too, or that she’s just as capable of evil doings and the two end up enabling each other’s behavior. However, it’s either Asha or Star-Boy that shows him what the power is doing to him, and he soon realizes what he must do, with the climax, seeing him atoning for his actions and redeeming himself.
@@Jackal_El_Lobo34 you mean like Disney wish 2 (2026 film) and in this movie Mickey Mouse accidentally send magnifico free and now one mistake had to fix all this Asha Valentino Mickey Mouse star Minnie Mouse Donald Duck goofy Pluto Rapunzel Anna Elsa jiminy cricket stitch bolt penny vanellope and wreck it ralph on a mission to save the world and Mickey and Asha need to worktogether to stop king magnifico and save the world.
The difference is Anxiety is coherent with her own character. She has a specific motive (as the personification of anxiety itself, planning things ahead to prepare for future events) and a goal (create a new Sense of Self that would help Riley to survive for what is coming to her after reaching puberty and going to high school) and she is hellbent on succeed at all costs. King Magnifico had a motive (his homeland being destroyed by thieves) and a goal (keeping wishes safe, so no one would have their dreams shattered), but then for some reason, out of nowhere he became a 2 dimensional parody of a Disney villain. Even after Anxiety is “defeated”, everyone understands that she’s well-intentioned but with misguided methods, and they still let her use her purpose in a more productive way (like studying hard for an upcoming exam without going over fixating or overthinking). While everyone demonizes Magnifico for just saying “no” FOR ONCE to a random nepotistic hypocrite.
I'd say that Magnifico is "secretly selfish"(i.e. he grants the wishes that would be beneficial to HIM, not to the person who made the wish, which is why the God analogy that I sometimes encounter in regard to him doesn't work in his case, at least not by any orthodox theology). Anxiety, by contrast, always wants Riley's good.
Story: A man rises from humble beginnings and gains enough power that he could easily make everyone's life hell and get away with it. Instead he builds a peaceful, prosperous kingdom where everyone is welcome as long as they pay a small price. His only real flaw is vanity. Disney : What a monster!
One thing I don’t understand is that why he’s a villain for deciding which wish should be granted and yet the movie ends with Ashe doing the exact same thing.
It is worse than, he is the villain because he keeps the wishes and not giving them back, because that would not create a divide and envy between the citizens because all wishes are good and cannot backfire spectacularly! It is the childish mindset of a fool who cannot think a bit ahead. If it is followed it will create a worse situation.
Should have given her what she wanted and see how fast that spirals out of control and when she realizes he's right they return to the room and he asks her "so how did it feel to grant wishes without thinking about it?" And show why he is the way he is as it was all an illusion to show her "wish" coming true Good lesson to the people watching instead of "get whatever you want just because"
@@lukasmiller486 yeah sorta. Basically god gave him all that power but it's been a while since I've seen it so I'll probably rewatch it if it's on a streaming service
@@lukasmiller486- Something like that. Main character is having a tough time and starts getting sassy about God. So God grants him his powers if he thinks it’s so easy. At first it seems like the best thing ever, having omniscient powers. But being God also comes with a lot of responsibilities that he wasn’t prepared to take on. It’s not quite what would be needed here, where Asha should have gotten a reality check about not granting all wishes / how giving back the wishes that won’t be granted isn’t necessarily the best option for the kingdom either. Like, what happens if someone becomes entitled and bitter that their wish wasn’t granted even though one of the kingdom’s perks is giving your wish to be granted. What if they started a revolution over their wish or the wish of someone they knew not being granted. Oh wait… Wish suffers from the “we’re going to introduce a systemic issue, but only put the blame on the person in charge” problem.
My main problem with Magnifico is that he just goes from a normal person to a cartoon villain, immediately ruining everything about his presence, seriously if this movie wanted Magnifico to be a classic villain, then stick to it and actually have him do horrible stuff and have him be campy, and you know make him intimidating, because it does not work out when a villain suddenly goes from a villain with sympathetic qualities to one big power rangers villain
Exactly. Part of makes the classics great is their consistency of character and motivations. For Magnifico, they could have kept the tragic backstory and then revealed that it was a lie. Make him responsible for the downfall or just reveal that he embellished the story because simple folk are so quick to enjoy “the hero’s journey.” Just anything that isn’t “I was possessed by a book and now I’m evil.” So underwhelming.
@@TheDeathmail - That’s such an easy fix though. All of the information given about Magnifico’s backstory isn’t verifiable. We don’t see the destruction in action or see the aftermath in physical form. It’s all told after the fact. If Disney execs weren’t so gutless, the real twist could have been that Magnifico’s backstory is a lie he invented to lure people into trusting him with their deepest wish, effectively giving him power over them at all times. Having the storybook opening be part of the lie would have been amazing. But alas…
@@Rikrobat Even with that you still need to change a ton of stuff. He is still the guy who MADE THE COUNTRY, still MAKES WISHES COME TRUE and NO TAXES. The only evil thing he kinda does is keeping wishes he is not going to grant, which is a grey area considering if he gave them back it would create a divide between those who got their granted and those who did not. That is not a villain barely an antagonist who can be more easily justified enhanced by the "be careful what you wish for" lesson.
One of the worst things to me is when Asha tells Magnifico that bad people with bad wishes can be stopped. She has grown up in a literal paradise and knows nothing of hardship, conflict, and real evil. She then tells a guy who lost his home and family to war/violence "oh, we'll just stop the bad buys, it's so easy, teehee"
His was originally written as a good guy, and it SHOWS. He could've been such a complex antagonist, a Yen Sid-inspired figure to Asha's apprentice role. And they deprived him of any depth in the final product.
Actually apparently it was the opposite? He was originally an outright evil villain, along with Amaya, but for some reason they decided to make him sympathetic?
@@cartoonishidealism582 Amaya's VA confirmed that during the audition phase, Magnifico 2as a good king and Amaya was the villain, so when they made her good by callbacks, she had to change her performance.
@@OpticalSorcerer I checked the interview (I think this is the right one) and I think you might have misinterpreted. _When I first auditioned for this movie, it wasn't called Wish. It was just called Disney's, you know, big, animated...there was a working title...but it was Disney's 100 years of Disney movie. She was an evil queen. So my first audition, the sides were evil and I had to sing a song. I actually sang Ursula's theme song like the evil queen from The Little Mermaid and I thought, 'This is fun! This is cool.' I knew nothing. They don't give you a script, right? So you just have your sides. And I did it. It was wonderful. But then, several months later, it's a long process, and when I had my call back, the sides were completely different. The character was completely different. She was grounded, and she was loving. She was rather maternal and I loved her. And so that's the version that they ended up going with, obviously in production and even when we would work on some scenes throughout the recording. It was about a year of recording. They would come back sometimes the next session, and she would be tweaked and a little kinder. I think they wanted to lean into the difference between the evil king and the kind of maternal, loving grounded Queen, so it was really cool to watch her change. I was excited to see the difference._ So yes, Amaya was originally meant to be evil but she never stated that Magnifico was originally meant to be good. There are storyboards and concept art showing that Amaya and Magnifico were BOTH meant to be a villainous duo together.
@@cartoonishidealism582 Different interview: "Yeah, yeah. When I first got this audition actually, it was now almost like two years ago. She was an evil queen, and Magnifico was a good king. And she was the evil. And then, by the callback round, I would say, they had changed her character pretty completely and she was a grounded maternal, benevolent queen who was completely different than the first audition I did. So I had to really change my take on her. And I dressed completely differently and I changed my voice."
How can you have a goal that had so much potential, and then it got wasted. Like, when King Magnifico once talked about his back story, I was like, "Ooh, I feel like I will be bringing into some great villainy," but then after a while... (in which you know) IT WAS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN! Also, Aldone, it's good that you brought up Anxiety because, unlike King Magnifico, Anxiety also has a purpose, and it is, of course, shown multiple times in the film, she also follows her purpose in a dangerous way, in which it leads her to be redeemed. King Magnifico also talked about his purpose, but... then, he does nothing with it. In addition, the movie made no sense.
There's certainly flaws in Magnifico's ideas, but on the whole his system works too well for it to really feel like a problem that needs to be solved. And even with the issues that _are_ there, Asha never really gives a valid or pragmatic alternative to them, but the movie treats her as unequivocally in the right and completely sides with her, to the point where they have to use a literal magic book to turn Magnifico fully evil so they can avoid having any further discussion over it.
Magnifico was an overall overworked decent guy with reasonable goals throughout most of the movie untill he opened a book that basically possesses him making him seem drunk on power and no one thought to break him free from the curse not even his own wife siding with the bratty teen revolution instead, in a deleted scene he was going to be sealed into the same mirror and then get irrevocably destroyed by his wife breaking the mirror from under her heel like that's just cruel and disney somehow thought sealing him into the dungeon was better then giving this man some emotonal support or a break.
The Fact that King Magnfico is written messy and isn’t consistent is sad he could have been a great villain either Tragic or Pure evil great video by the way
Asha is no different than The Corrupted Magnifico, she is incredibly selfish and does not consider any concequence in mind, she literally does the same as Magnifico in the end of the movie, there is blatantly no difference between the start of the movie and the end of the movie
I find it really funny yet also frustrating that the first half of the movie very clearly shows how the position itself turned Magnifico into what he is, but then the second half acts like _he's_ the problem and the job just needs the "right" person to do it (who if we're being honest, would realistically _not_ be someone like Asha).
Wish is an utterly disastrous movie. Magnifico is not as an interesting Disney villain because it made him more cartoony and lacks the messages any Disney villains would deliver. And you are right that Disney has a bad reputation of shafting villains from the modern stories or doing live action remakes for marketing purposes. What the studio needs is to go back to its original roots starting with the revival of 2D animations.
I couldn't agree more. When bob chapek was the disney CEO, disney had a great future with the return of 2d animation and the 1990s renaissence formula(beauty and the beast hunchback of notre dame) as well. Unforntunatly, when bob iger returned at disney, he announced zootopia 2, frozen 3(frozen 4) and moana 2😭💀 and no one asked for those sequels(We asked to bring back 2d.).
@@Yellowguy0619 I like bill sykes and oliver and company is my favorite underrated classic. This animated movie should not be the worst movie of all time.
Wish is actually an origin story of Magnifico, not Asha. In the beginning of the movie, it always tells the story of the king to how he became a sorcerer and a king. Not only that, his traumatic memories when his home was destroyed by greed. To me, he’s a hero. Asha, Amaya, and the rest just suck. Both Asha and Amaya were told by Magnifico about his story and they kicked him to the curb.
Funny thing is... as someone who's actually written a ultimately good intentioned, kind and benevolent character turning into a pure even monster... its not actually difficult to do. It just not something you do in under an hour... its a multi season thing so you can't use it in a movie, and honestly im shocked at how often companies with billions upon billions of dollars and resources somehow fumble the ball. Especially when, you got things like their animated shows... you can't tell me, that Phillip Whittabane from the Owl house is NOT a classic disney villain. Dude's like what you'd get it you took Judge Frolo and gave him Maleficent's powers! and he's terrifying, or... in the same vain, you got good old newt king in Amphibia. Who does give the benevolent king act, but is shown to be working for some grander goal that isn't so peachy... you can ahve villains that are sympathetic and ultimately wrong. But thats not what wish has... Two of disney's shows which they tried to SHAFT... cutting them both down for having pro lgtbq representation, did classic disney villains BETTER, than the current movies disney has been pumping out.
I’m writing a story where Asha learns some of the wishes were from people with evil motives. Magnifico teaches her a lesson in human nature and she helps him through past trauma. I can’t wait to finish it!
An absolute great analysis of this omega level of failure of a film and a villain and actually interesting comparison to Anxiety, who kinda have a very similar arc in the way that both start, but at least anxiety is treated as a misguided antagonist from the start to the finish, been consistence with her character, while Magnifico start sympathetic but pretty much in a DIME switch to narcissist and egocentric out of the blue and in a dime as well become megalomaniacal and pure evil just for read a curse book and worst his wife not even defend the dude when they beat him and treat him like trash when she was aware that was the book what supposed to turn him evil......this film is just a mess, to think this was the 100 years anniversary, is just so sad, Walt deserved BETTER, I hope if DISNEY is still around the next 100 years when the company celebrate 200 years......please that generation....BE BETTER, not do this crap again.
The story would have improved some much by having Magnifico leave and then have the sorcerer's apprentice story. As for the wish being dangerous, look up Pathfinder whispering tyrant's wish and it went wrong.
I enjoy his work but I wish he would do some new material instead rehashing the same points about where the studios fail and what they need to do to succeed. I’d like to see him do “Moses Prince of Egypt” “El Dorado” “Sinbad” and “The Princess and the Frog.”
Cinderella 3 lady Tremaine worked very well with dark magic....👿👿👿, EVEN MORGANA IN THE LITTLE MERMAID 2, SHE GOT THE King Triton! She also working the magic too! King Magnfico got WITH DARK MAGIC 108 IN THE MOVIE....😤😤😤
One huge fix for Magnifico that would actually fix him is if you make him the source of all the problems..... And then he makes people pay for the solution with their wishes....
This is one of those tragic missteps about magnifico that makes me sad honestly. He had a great setup and his motivation is well thought out and meaningful; but they ruined it with the everyone is a winner mentality. Fairly Odd Parents got this right with "Be careful what you wish for." And that is a cartoon thats been around since i was little. Magnifico deserved better; and he deserved a better story. He was fearful of others stealing power they didn't deserve and this fear could have made a great setup for him becoming a villain, that the "protagonist" egged him on to becoming the villain because he started to see her as a weak link and realized she was a threat. This would cause him to see others as dangerous and drive him to consume the power for himself to keep it away from everyone. The "protagonist" could then be identified as the reason he snaps and she loses the respect of the people for triggering him to go crazy, he becomes power hungry and mad, destroying everything himself as a slash and burn to deny power to the others. What should then happen is "We need to wake magnifico up from his madness" so the group works together to remind him they need him and care for him; and that the "protagonist" was wrong for her assumptions and actions. Magnifico cant fight the madness so they have to help him break it and when they do; he realizes he brought all that destruction through his fear, everything he did wrong was through his fear of losing it all again. So he rightfully punishes the "protagonist" for her actions, and helps rebuild the kingdom, reminding everyone that he chose not to give out power that way because of what it can do. In this way it reminds us he is still a good person and not a villain; but he opts to perhaps have a select few responsible individuals help regulate the power and help him come to understand only together can they prevent the events magnifico sought to prevent the first time. All the meanwhile Magnifico ousts the protagonist and tells her "you can either leave or you can stay but you will learn to be responsible with the power presented to you. If you want your wish to be granted; you must clarify it and consider the consequences." And that would make for a better ending than this...
Magnifico is a problem due to the current era. Back in the Renassiance, you could create villains that were best- jerks who love being villains or truly monstrous individuals. However, as the 21st century has gone on, the stories of Disney focus on personal drama and mature issues- leaving villains being nuanced, twists to enforce the themes, or generic as they're left to the wayside in favor of resolving the themes. Narissa, King Candy/Turbo, and Mother Gothel were the last true Disney animated villains (yes Narissa is a live-action/animated hybrid, but still counts)- taking cues from Grimhilde/Maleficent and Judge Doom while being their own characters while the latter goes into darker themes while having a classic villain. Magnifico was an attempt at creating the classic villain, but he's mixed with the trappings of the nuanced villain before outright giving them up. Either have him be one or the other because having it both ways doesn't work. It's why Anxiety works- her actions are definitely antagonistic but they are born from a nuanced desire to help Riley while going about it the incorrect way. And it's human to be anxious rather than demonize it. It's like with Sadness from the last movie, being sad does hurt, but it makes appreciate the positive feelings even more because being happy all the time is unhealthy. And not being anxious or being too anxious is being unhealthy. Inside Out 2 managed the balance the tightrope of antagonism and nuance well while Wish made it such a tangled mess (excuse the pun)
It's not Magnifico failed as a mere villain, he is much more of a hero that already finished his journey and understand how dangerous is untamed wish. A heroic antagonist who tried to do bad thing but justified action only to be corrupted by paranoia caused by the protagonist clueless act.
My dad's take on the movie is that Magnifico was always a narcissist and the story was basically about standing up to a narcissist. But... I have to wonder if that was even there in the first place. And why does Magnifico's song sound like a pop song instead of a villain song? Idk, I love my parents, and they both really enjoyed Wish- I did too, until I sat down to think about it- but I honestly don't believe that the narcissist plotline was done well or even on purpose.
I just hope that in the movie of Shrek 5, once Disney buys DreamWorks, all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses appear, especially the most important character in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, with her best friends Zephyr, Tip, Dash, Kiera and Catalina, and besides, they will be the new main characters of the movie of Shrek 5 so that they help Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, and Melody, but actually, Melody is The First and Only that she is not a True Official Disney Princess, because Melody made her debut in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea and it is also because she is The First and Only Daughter of an Official Disney Princess, but Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Death, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, because Melody is The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, but also The Death of Queen Lillian, because since her husband named King Harold passed away in the movie of Shrek 3, she has felt heartbroken and that caused her own death in her Kingdom of Far Far Away, and all The Inhabitants of The Kingdom of Far Far Away are saddened by The Death of Queen Lillian, because now she is with her husband named King Harold in heaven, and now they have lost their queen, that means now The Kingdom of Far Far Away needs a new queen and King Artie said that his love interest, girlfriend, fiancée and former classmate from Worcestershire school called Princess Guinevere would be the one to be The New Queen of Far Far Away, so King Artie decided to return to his old school called Worcestershire along with Shrek, with his older cousin Princess Fiona, with Donkey, with Dragon, with Puss in Boots, with Kitty Softpaws, with Perrito, with Dulcinea, with The Three Diablos, with Goldilocks, with The Three Bears, with The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, with The Children of Cassandra, The Romance of Starboy and Princess Asha, The Romance of Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany and The Romance of King Artie and Princess Guinevere, because I think that Maui will be Queen Moana Waialiki's love interest, boyfriend and fiancé, while Hiccup Haddock will be Princess Merida's love interest and boyfriend, Princess Tiffany will be Prince Lancelot's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée and Princess Guinevere will be King Artie's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée, because Queen Moana Waialiki is going to fall in love with Maui, Princess Merida is going to fall in love Hiccup Haddock, Princess Tiffany is going to fall in love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because she doesn't need a love interest, but also The Rivalry of King Artie and Queen Anna because they both want to compete in a challenge to see who is The Best Ruler of a Kingdom, because both want to do what is best for Their Own Kingdom, because King Artie wants to do the best for his Kingdom of Far Far Away because now he is The New King of Far Far Away and Queen Anna wants to do the best for her Kingdom of Arendelle because now she is The New Queen of Arendelle, but at the end, King Artie and Queen Anna become best friends in the world, because at the end, they both learned from their mistakes that they have made since their challenge to compete to see who is the best ruler of a Kingdom, and that at the end, King Artie and Princess Guinevere see their first true love kiss and that they become a romantic couple, just like Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Varian, Jin, Connor, The Baker, Starboy, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Cassandra, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Asha, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
Yeah, I already know that, but I think it's time for Shrek and Princess Fiona to meet their new friends and their new archenemies in Shrek 5, as Rumpelstiltskin, Death, Drizella Tremaine, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, as Queen Grimhilde, Lady Tremaine, Captain Hook, Hades, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Marina del Rey, Ursula, Gaston LeGume, Jafar, John Ratcliffe, Shan Yu, Yzma, Dr. Facilier, Zhan Tiri, Judge Claude Frollo, Mother Gothel, Tamatoa, Drago Bludvist, Grimmel The Grisly, Mor'du, King Runeard, Prince Hans, Pitch Black, Dr. Zara, Queen Nerissa, King Magnifico, Rapunzel (Shrek), Morgana and The Younger Children of Judge Claude Frollo and Mother Gothel: Claudius Gothel Frollo, Claudine Gothel Frollo, Claudia Gothel Frollo, Ginny Gothel Frollo, Molly Gothel Frollo, Marios Gothel Frollo, Gabe Gothel Frollo, Gina Gothel Frollo, Marcus Gothel Frollo, Gem Gothel Frollo, Gemini Gothel Frollo and Rubya Gothel Frollo, because everyone wants to see that in the Shrek 5 movie and I think that Captain Cassandra Gothel Frollo is The Real Biological Firstborn Daughter of Mother Gothel and Judge Claude Frollo, because Cassandra inherited the personality of her true biological mother called Mother Gothel, but she also inherited the appearance of her true biological father called Judge Claude Frollo, but unlike her true biological parents who are evil and powerful villains, Cassandra is a so serious, so sweet, so honest, so kind, so funny, so generous, so loyal, so selfless, so brave, so organized, so optimistic, so sensible, so adventurous, so empathetic, so competitive, so intelligent, so responsible, so loving and above all, so beautiful heroine since the day she was born, because Cassandra always wanted a kind and loving family from the day she was born, but her true biological parents never treated her very well, because as they are one of the most evil and most powerful villains in the entire world, Judge Claude Frollo and Mother Gothel was always using her as their servant for their own goals and Captain Cassandra has 8 biological younger sisters and 4 biological younger brothers called Claudius Gothel Frollo, Claudine Gothel Frollo, Claudia Gothel Frollo, Ginny Gothel Frollo, Molly Gothel Frollo, Marios Gothel Frollo, Gabe Gothel Frollo, Gina Gothel Frollo, Marcus Gothel Frollo, Gem Gothel I’ll give magnifico two things: 1. His song fucking slaps. Idc if it’s a crappy villain song, it still goes hard 2. Magnifico is straight drippin. That cape with the starry inside is beautiful and very eye catching
Even tho I've always hated Modern Disney Villains for making them needlessly Sympathetic, Magnifico would be one of the only Villains I wouldn't mind to be redeemed.
It would've been Better if Magnifico was Written as a Traumatised Individual from a Attack from his Home [Kingdom[ losing Everything in the Process, After that he became a Ruler who formed Rosas with his Future Wife and Rule with somewhat of an Iron Fist but not really, but when the Events of the Movie took Place where we are, and Later in the Events of the Movie he Slowly falls deeply into a Spiral of Paranoia, Turmoil, Madness, and Lunacy, and he uses the Cursed Book as a Last Resort when he is in a Unsound/Altered/Distorted State of Mind Via Mental Breakdown, the Darkness from Within and his Past came back to Haunt him, and it's a Little too Late for him to Reverse his Possession by the Book [Darkness Consuming him from the Inside-out] and his Madness from his Traumatic Past Which he Forces his Oppressive will onto the Citizens and Shut down anything that they can Escape from, and While he is doing this; a small Group of Individuals formed a Revolutionary Pact to Overthrow that Régime that Lost it's way, and they Plan to Overthrow him and Replace him with his Wife who Noticed that he became the Darkest Version of himself and he Engaged in Despicable Actions against her Which made her Snap and made her Realise that He is no Longer the man she once Loved and Decided to Ally with the Revolutionary Pact to Overthrow him and when he is Overthrown because of the People and him being his own Worst Enemy, a new Era Begins with the New Queen taking over Rosas and Fix everything and made Reforms to Rosas Which Concludes that Story. How is that for an Idea?
I'll say this even if King Magnifico was right on not granting certain wishes what was stopping him from still helping others out in a different way without wish granting like the Wizard of Oz and Uncle Grandpa ? As they never technically granted any wishes
Did Oz actually help someone?(except the Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion and Tin Man, but their persistence basically forced him to do so). As far as I remember, he was rather a figurehead and relied on good witches to get shit done.
The Magnifico dilema was he was the fusion of the two antagonistics, Magnifico and the Queen Maya. As originally Maya was going to be th3 Big Bad that would be the Evil Step Mother
I refuse to watch wish, however I have seen plenty videos on it, but I’m so upset that they ALMOST had a good movie with several of their storyboards and early ideas! I’m sad they decided for worse than pure evil and love interest. I genuinely wish they kept the idea of the star being a humanoid and Asha’s love interest, I also wish the queen was evil too.
You are right about magnifico p.s this movie is ok as best now I really think about it but I still like it and to be honest he totally is a decent villain
Compare this to Encanto, where the paranoia of an older leader character against the plucky younger colored girl causing the problem is done way better.
David, agreed. It’s a common problem of UA-cam bloggers who have gone viral to get desperate for ratings, views and comments when they’ve run out of meaningful things to say so they start repeating themselves or grasping for straws instead of waiting a few months or even a year for something new to come to mind. No offense, Aldone. I like your work but you don’t want to fall into this trap if you wish to keep the quality of your channel high.
If Asha was his apprentice and idolized him all her life but later she comes to find out how much he’s harming other people Then decided to go against him, it would be a much more interesting movie
King Magnifico 🤝 Agent Trout from We Bare Bears. Being villains of a Bad told story. Being truly heroes. Being pissed off for social resentful assholes who Made a change for Evil.
There only one movie that can do a musical final battle right that I know and that SpongeBob the movie which was a shoe horned but it worked for some reason
Magnifico wasn't even a villain! They only reason why he didn't grant everyone's wishes was because not everybody has good moral desires. The true villain of this movie was Natasha! Or whatever her name was!
Damn, everytime i see clups from wish the animation looks so...lifeless. theres a lack of complimentary colors, theres a weird flatness to it due to the kack of shadows and lights...its just very...mid. like those low budget copy movies that try to capitalize on classic fisney movies. This is so bad
I hate this villain so much and his song as well😭💀. He's disappointly worse than hans from frozen and ratcilffe from pocahontas. His song is also disappointly worse😭💀 than hellfire from hunchback of notre dame, be prepare from the lion king, in the dark of the night from anasatsia, no more mr. nice guy from the swan princess and worse than the ruber's song from quest for camelot.
Actually, Hans' much worse than Magnifico because he's a twist villain that came right out of nowhere with very few hints, therefore not giving the audience enough time to fully accept him as such. His motivations make no sense whatsoever. At least Magnifico's a villain from start to finish and his motivations make some sense, even though he's actually reasonable and right about not granting every single person's wish despite the movie desperately trying to convince us that he's "evil" and want us to root against him, which it does poorly at, of course. Even Ratcliffe's better than both Hans and Magnifico combined.
I hate all this woke Disney bullshit past few years its ruined the franchise and most movies that come out now a days they dont need to replace almost every character with a black or Philippine person and they are making every character women which doesnt fit well with certain things or the way a movie wants to go
the fact that he felt more redeemable and more root-deserving than the main character bothers me
Magnifico is supposed to be a monstrous tyrant, but in execution he comes off more as a decent guy who has to make tough decisions and might not always make the best or right one.
Truth is that Magnífico was feeling more like a mentor figure who was truly good, experienced and wise until he was literally possessed

The difference is that Sykes is- wait wrong comment-
I'd say that Magnifico is "secretly selfish"(i.e. he grants the wishes that would be beneficial to HIM, not to the person who made the wish, which is why the God analogy that I sometimes encounter in regard to him doesn't work in his case, at least not by any orthodox theology). Anxiety, by contrast, always wants Riley's good.

Should have given her what she wanted and see how fast that spirals out of control and when she realizes he's right they return to the room and he asks her "so how did it feel to grant wishes without thinking about it?" @@lukasmiller486 yeah sorta.
Oh wait…
Wish suffers from the “we’re going to introduce a systemic issue, but only put the blame on the person in charge” problem.
@@RikrobatI agree
Except he didn't start off as a villain.....
That's the issue...
But alas…
@@Rikrobat
Even with that you still need to change a ton of stuff.
It also doesn't help that he doesn't look evil in the slightest. He just looks like a modern day youth pastor wearing an Elvis Presley outfit.
You are hilarious!😂
😂😂😂😂😂 omg I can't unsee this now
And not to mention, his “” villain song “” sounds straight out of a pharmaceutical commercial. It sounds so corporate and bland it makes me sick 🤢
I was excited to see the difference._
So yes, Amaya was originally meant to be evil but she never stated that Magnifico was originally meant to be good. There are storyboards and concept art showing that Amaya and Magnifico were BOTH meant to be a villainous duo together.
@@cartoonishidealism582 Different interview:
"Yeah, yeah.
Even with Chris Pine’s brilliant vocal performance, it still unfortunately doesn’t make Magnifico any better. ☹️
And the funny thing is that, for once, the redeemable villain would've worked.
I can’t stop thinking about this movie. Those early concept ideas are like my new hyperfixation. We were so robbed. 😭😭😭

Disney was so focused on making a villain that they failed to make one.

All the other Disney villains are laughing at you dude!
Age Asha up and let them have the romance
Asha is the true villan in this movie, I will not be convinced otherwise.
I will never believe magnifico was a villian. Just a ruler a good person who knew better but was betrayed by his people and then became possessed

As for the wish being dangerous, look up Pathfinder whispering tyrant's wish and it went wrong.

Always good to see Aldone upload
I enjoy his work but I wish he would do some new material instead rehashing the same points about where the studios fail and what they need to do to succeed. I’d like to see him do “Moses Prince of Egypt” “El Dorado” “Sinbad” and “The Princess and the Frog.”
Magnifico wasnt a "straight up evil" villain. He was a villain who slowly gave into evil.
he was kicked into losing his mind, that doesn't make him a villain but a victim
And then he makes people pay for the solution with their wishes....
he was the true hero of the story and asha was the true veillane
If you want your wish to be granted; you must clarify it and consider the consequences."
And that would make for a better ending than this...
Inside Out 2 managed the balance the tightrope of antagonism and nuance well while Wish made it such a tangled mess (excuse the pun)
he's the hero of the story let's be real
It's not Magnifico failed as a mere villain, he is much more of a hero that already finished his journey and understand how dangerous is untamed wish. A heroic antagonist who tried to do bad thing but justified action only to be corrupted by paranoia caused by the protagonist clueless act.
Sykes: The Darkest Villain
My dad's take on the movie is that Magnifico was always a narcissist and the story was basically about standing up to a narcissist. But... I have to wonder if that was even there in the first place. And why does Magnifico's song sound like a pop song instead of a villain song?
Idk, I love my parents, and they both really enjoyed Wish- I did too, until I sat down to think about it- but I honestly don't believe that the narcissist plotline was done well or even on purpose.
I just hope that in the movie of Shrek 5, once Disney buys DreamWorks, all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses appear, especially the most important character in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, with her best friends Zephyr, Tip, Dash, Kiera and Catalina, and besides, they will be the new main characters of the movie of Shrek 5 so that they help Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Eclair, Coco and Debbie and The Others to defeat Rumpelstiltskin, Death, Drizella Tremaine, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, as Queen Grimhilde, Lady Tremaine, Captain Hook, Hades, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Marina del Rey, Ursula, Gaston LeGume, Jafar, John Ratcliffe, Shan Yu, Yzma, Dr. Facilier, Zhan Tiri, Judge Claude Frollo, Mother Gothel, Tamatoa, Drago Bludvist, Grimmel The Grisly, Mor'du, King Runeard, Prince Hans, Pitch Black, Dr. Zara, Queen Nerissa, King Magnifico, Rapunzel (Shrek) and Morgana, and to prevent Rumpelstiltskin, Death, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks from ruling and destroying all The Multiverse Forever, especially The Kingdom of Far Far Away, Shrek along with his wife named Princess Fiona will need help from their new friends which are all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses, as Prince Florian, Princess Snow White, Prince Charming, Princess Cinderella, The Baker, Anastasia Tremaine, Prince Philip, Princess Aurora, Prince Eric, Princess Ariel, Prince Adam, Princess Belle, Prince Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Prince John Smith, Princess Pocahontas, Prince Li Shang, Princess Fa Mulan, Prince Naveen, Princess Tiana, Prince Flynn Rider, Princess Rapunzel, Varian, Cassandra, Maui, Queen Moana Waialiki, Hiccup Haddock, Princess Merida, Kristoff Bjorgman, Queen Anna, Jack Frost, Princess Elsa, Miguel Rivera, Princess Raya, Walter Beckett, Princess Mirabel Madrigal, Jin, Yi, Connor, Ruby Gillman, Starboy, Princess Asha, Mateo, Queen Elena, Prince Desmond, Princess Amber, Prince James, Princess Isabel, Prince Hugo, Princess Sofia, Namaari, The Futuristic Four, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica and Melody, but actually, Melody is The First and Only that she is not a True Official Disney Princess, because Melody made her debut in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea and it is also because she is The First and Only Daughter of an Official Disney Princess, but Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Eclair, Coco and Debbie and The Others also need Melody's help to protect and save all The Multiverse, especially Their Kingdom of Far Far Away away from Rumpelstiltskin, Death, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, because Melody is The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, but also The Death of Queen Lillian, because since her husband named King Harold passed away in the movie of Shrek 3, she has felt heartbroken and that caused her own death in her Kingdom of Far Far Away, and all The Inhabitants of The Kingdom of Far Far Away are saddened by The Death of Queen Lillian, because now she is with her husband named King Harold in heaven, and now they have lost their queen, that means now The Kingdom of Far Far Away needs a new queen and King Artie said that his love interest, girlfriend, fiancée and former classmate from Worcestershire school called Princess Guinevere would be the one to be The New Queen of Far Far Away, so King Artie decided to return to his old school called Worcestershire along with Shrek, with his older cousin Princess Fiona, with Donkey, with Dragon, with Puss in Boots, with Kitty Softpaws, with Perrito, with Dulcinea, with The Three Diablos, with Goldilocks, with The Three Bears, with The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, with The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Eclair, Coco and Debbie and with the Others to meet again with their friends from their school who are actually Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany and his love interest, girlfriend and fiancée Princess Guinevere to take them back to his Kingdom of Far Far Away, and also The Romance of all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses, especially The Romance of Maui and Queen Moana Waialiki, The Romance of Hiccup Haddock and Princess Merida, The Romance of Jack Frost and Princess Elsa, The Romance of Varian and Cassandra, The Romance of Starboy and Princess Asha, The Romance of Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany and The Romance of King Artie and Princess Guinevere, because I think that Maui will be Queen Moana Waialiki's love interest, boyfriend and fiancé, while Hiccup Haddock will be Princess Merida's love interest and boyfriend, Princess Tiffany will be Prince Lancelot's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée and Princess Guinevere will be King Artie's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée, because Queen Moana Waialiki is going to fall in love with Maui, Princess Merida is going to fall in love Hiccup Haddock, Princess Tiffany is going to fall in love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because she doesn't need a love interest, but also The Rivalry of King Artie and Queen Anna because they both want to compete in a challenge to see who is The Best Ruler of a Kingdom, because both want to do what is best for Their Own Kingdom, because King Artie wants to do the best for his Kingdom of Far Far Away because now he is The New King of Far Far Away and Queen Anna wants to do the best for her Kingdom of Arendelle because now she is The New Queen of Arendelle, but at the end, King Artie and Queen Anna become best friends in the world, because at the end, they both learned from their mistakes that they have made since their challenge to compete to see who is the best ruler of a Kingdom, and that at the end, King Artie and Princess Guinevere see their first true love kiss and that they become a romantic couple, just like Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Varian, Jin, Connor, The Baker, Starboy, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Cassandra, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Asha, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
It never gonna happen please stop this
Yeah, I already know that, but I think it's time for Shrek and Princess Fiona to meet their new friends and their new archenemies in Shrek 5, as Rumpelstiltskin, Death, Drizella Tremaine, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, as Queen Grimhilde, Lady Tremaine, Captain Hook, Hades, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Marina del Rey, Ursula, Gaston LeGume, Jafar, John Ratcliffe, Shan Yu, Yzma, Dr. Facilier, Zhan Tiri, Judge Claude Frollo, Mother Gothel, Tamatoa, Drago Bludvist, Grimmel The Grisly, Mor'du, King Runeard, Prince Hans, Pitch Black, Dr. Zara, Queen Nerissa, King Magnifico, Rapunzel (Shrek), Morgana and The Younger Children of Judge Claude Frollo and Mother Gothel: Claudius Gothel Frollo, Claudine Gothel Frollo, Claudia Gothel Frollo, Ginny Gothel Frollo, Molly Gothel Frollo, Marios Gothel Frollo, Gabe Gothel Frollo, Gina Gothel Frollo, Marcus Gothel Frollo, Gem Gothel Frollo, Gemini Gothel Frollo and Rubya Gothel Frollo, because everyone wants to see that in the Shrek 5 movie and I think that Captain Cassandra Gothel Frollo is The Real Biological Firstborn Daughter of Mother Gothel and Judge Claude Frollo, because Cassandra inherited the personality of her true biological mother called Mother Gothel, but she also inherited the appearance of her true biological father called Judge Claude Frollo, but unlike her true biological parents who are evil and powerful villains, Cassandra is a so serious, so sweet, so honest, so kind, so funny, so generous, so loyal, so selfless, so brave, so organized, so optimistic, so sensible, so adventurous, so empathetic, so competitive, so intelligent, so responsible, so loving and above all, so beautiful heroine since the day she was born, because Cassandra always wanted a kind and loving family from the day she was born, but her true biological parents never treated her very well, because as they are one of the most evil and most powerful villains in the entire world, Judge Claude Frollo and Mother Gothel was always using her as their servant for their own goals and Captain Cassandra has 8 biological younger sisters and 4 biological younger brothers called Claudius Gothel Frollo, Claudine Gothel Frollo, Claudia Gothel Frollo, Ginny Gothel Frollo, Molly Gothel Frollo, Marios Gothel Frollo, Gabe Gothel Frollo, Gina Gothel Frollo, Marcus Gothel Frollo, Gem Gothel Frollo, Gemini Gothel Frollo and Rubya Gothel Frollo, and I also knew that Mother Gothel and Judge Claude Frollo never loved their own Real Biological Firstborn Daughter Captain Cassandra, because even though Mother Gothel is the Real Biological Mother of Captain Cassandra Gothel Frollo and Judge Claude Frollo is the Real Biological Father of Captain Cassandra Gothel Frollo, they were using Princess Rapunzel and Quasimodo as their own children for their own goals, and I think that Quasimodo is the Real Biological Younger Twin Brother of Princess Rapunzel, the Real Biological Brother-in-law of Prince Flynn Rider, the Real Biological Younger Twin Son of King Frederick and Queen Arianna, the Real Biological Younger Twin Nephew of Princess Wilhelmina, the Future Younger Twin Nephew of Agent Lance Sterling, the Future Adoptive Cousin of Walter Beckett, the Future Adoptive Cousin-in-law of Princess Mirabel Madrigal, the Future Adoptive Brother-in-law of Varian, the Adoptive Younger Brother of Captain Cassandra Gothel Frollo, the Future Husband of Madellaine and the Future Adoptive Uncle of Opal and Jasper, also, everyone also wants The Romance of all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses, especially The Romance of Maui and Queen Moana Waialiki, The Romance of Hiccup Haddock and Princess Merida, The Romance of Jack Frost and Princess Elsa, The Romance of Varian and Cassandra, The Romance of Miguel Rivera and Princess Raya, The Romance of Walter Beckett and Princess Mirabel Madrigal, The Romance of Jin and Yi, The Romance of Connor and Ruby Gillman, The Romance of Starboy and Princess Asha, The Romance of Mateo and Queen Elena, The Romance of Prince Desmond and Princess Amber, The Romance of Prince James and Princess Isabel, The Romance of Prince Hugo and Princess Sofia, The Romance of Hiro Hamada and Honey Lemon, The Romance of Tony Rydinger and Violet Parr, The Romance of Wilbur Robinson and Penny Forrester, The Romance of Sora and Kairi, The Romance of Jim Lake Jr and Claire Nuñez, The Romance of Sherman and Penny Peterson, The Romance of Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany and The Romance of King Artie and Princess Guinevere, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Prince Florian, Prince Charming, The Baker, Prince Philip, Prince Eric, Prince Adam, Prince Aladdin, Prince John Smith, Prince Li Shang, Prince Naveen, Prince Flynn Rider, Varian, Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Miguel Rivera, Walter Beckett, Jin, Connor, Starboy, Quasimodo, Captain Phoebus, Hercules, Emperor Kuzco, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Hiro Hamada, Tony Rydinger, Wilbur Robinson, Sora, Jim Lake Jr, Sherman, Luca Paguro, Alberto Scorfano, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Princess Snow White, Princess Cinderella, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Aurora, Princess Ariel, Princess Belle, Princess Jasmine, Princess Pocahontas, Princess Fa Mulan, Princess Tiana, Princess Rapunzel, Cassandra, Queen Moana Waialiki, Princess Merida, Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Princess Raya, Princess Mirabel Madrigal, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Princess Asha, Madellaine, Esmeralda, Megara, Malina, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, Honey Lemon, Violet Parr, Penny Forrester, Kairi, Claire Nuñez, Penny Peterson, Giulia Marcovaldo, Mei Lee, Boo, Agnes, Edith, Margo, Poppy Prescott, Vanellope Von Schweetz, Princess Attina, Princess Alana, Princess Adella, Princess Aquata, Princess Arista, Princess Andrina, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
I’ll give magnifico two things:
1. His song fucking slaps. Idc if it’s a crappy villain song, it still goes hard
2. Magnifico is straight drippin. That cape with the starry inside is beautiful and very eye catching
Another words he's below the levels of other villains
He would work better as a tragic villain who is the one who gets redeemed.
@@romualdandrzejczak4093 he helps in a weird con artist type way. But the Uncle Grandpa example is head on
The Magnifico dilema was he was the fusion of the two antagonistics, Magnifico and the Queen Maya. As originally Maya was going to be th3 Big Bad that would be the Evil Step Mother
I just rewatch this movie yesterday and yes i agree with Magnifico being a bad villain.
We already got a Magnifico video. Where's the promised Lion king video that you announced in the mufasa video?
Guess he’s still cooking with that one.
You are right about magnifico p.s this movie is ok as best now I really think about it but I still like it and to be honest he totally is a decent villain
Compare this to Encanto, where the paranoia of an older leader character against the plucky younger colored girl causing the problem is done way better.
I feel really sorry for magnifico
I know Wish was a bad movie but let’s give it a break and talk about good movies
I don’t even think it was a bad film, ppl just need to fucking drop this film if they don’t fucking like it already! It came out in December FFS.
The failed villain but i won first place on a performance cosplay competition with this is the thanks I get XD
Still better than Hans, that's for sure.
His actions were wrong but justifiable
Wish sucks. They assasinated my favorite character, in his, well, character,
Please just stop pandering on this film already you are the mere definition of adding insult to injury
0:02 This movie is Flipping Gorgeous.😍
STOP HATING ON THIS FLAWED MASTERPIECE!!!!!
This is our opinion. We don't like this movie.
@@Yellowguy0619 exactly
I blame Late stage capitalism
The real hero of the story, and Disney (as always) ruins everything.
so true lol
Damn, everytime i see clups from wish the animation looks so...lifeless. theres a lack of complimentary colors, theres a weird flatness to it due to the kack of shadows and lights...its just very...mid. like those low budget copy movies that try to capitalize on classic fisney movies. This is so bad
I respectfully disagree.
I was not a big fan of this movie
This is why.... I prefer Sykes
I hate all this woke Disney bullshit past few years its ruined the franchise and most movies that come out now a days they dont need to replace almost every character with a black or Philippine person and they are making every character women which doesnt fit well with certain things or the way a movie wants to go
Aldone: The Failed UA-camr
Yet, here you are dropping a comment.😂
