MashaAllah. Achar mai boil water ko room temperature pe thanda kar k foran bhi dal saktay hain. 3 se 4 days mai ready hojata hai dhoop k baghair bhi ready hojata hai

This is without any preservative. For how long can this pickle be kept? (In the fridge? Or, in a cool darkish place in kitchen/room?) We have fond memories of this being made by our elders long time ago in Lucknow, Delhi, Lahore and Rawalpindi; to the best of my recall, no preservative was added, and it would stay usable for a gud 2-3-4 months.
