Love them scales, I may have to get some for my Maxamet 🔥🔥 although I dont know if I want them to match with the blade (mine is still natural color blade) or maybe contrast the look 🤔 any ideas or thoughts? Hava awesome weekend brother keep on keepn on 😎👊 your collection is fyyyyyaahhhh 🤜🤛
Thanks brother, hope you have a awesome weekend also! As for the scales I definitely recommend them and they look good no matter what blade finish. Both of my RGT scale sets are their stonewashed finish which is neutral for any blade but they offer several other finished to accommodate whatever look you are going for!

Those are a beauty! I’d get that XM-18 reground by BGM. I feel the same way about Rick and I’d never buy one now.
I actually looked into that awhile back and never went through with it but I completely agree…. Maybe one day 🤷🏻♂️
@@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIAL it would be dope! Plenty strong still for EDC use and it would help that cutting Geometry a lot. The Spartan Harsey that Neeves had Hollow ground by BGM is so amazing! I want one so bad.
Beautiful knives. I have the pm2 and para3 with factory scales. Both of them are maxamet.

I have a set of the Ti Lil' Native scales with the diamond pattern they are so nice. You got me thinking about polishing my maxamet Para 3.
If you have gunny juice on 1” wide pieces of basswood it’s pretty easy, just tedious and time consuming. Im sure there’s better ways that are more efficient but thats how I did mine. 🤷🏻♂️
Would silicum carbide paper polish it? We have that in Europe, its a tough sheet of paper impregnated with minerals, it polishes stuff like 1095 to mirror finish *silly* quick, but I wounder if it would be enough to do maxamet, being that its so hard? PS those scales are hot AF, but honestly just on the maxamet PM3 I also really like the cloudy gray that comes as standard. @@DamienNeverwinter thank you and honestly not sure, I don’t have any experience trying to polish with sand paper but it should be possible… I just don’t want to say anything for certain that I haven’t verified first hand. I used basswood strops loaded with gunny juice polycrystalline diamond emulsions which are alot more efficient at polishing because diamond is harder than silicon carbide and I believe the structure can be made smaller. I have a video showing how I make my basswood strops on my sharpening playlist! Thats the only way ive ever attempted to polish a blade and this is the only blade ive polished so I’m not a expert in this regard. I’m sure there are many other ways to do it but I just don’t have any knowledge or experience of them.

I was thinking about S45VN because I wasn’t sure if Maxamet could polish up that well but I’m ordering one ASAP.

Happy to hear it man! And my reply comments above yours pretty much encompass all of it. If you go about it the same way I’m sure you can get it done, I’ve only done this once though so I can’t really say if theres a easier or better way.
Both MXG and LNW create a hotspot for me. Looking for an alternative.
Best bet is going to be the RGT or the factory spoon clip. With smaller handles its harder to avoid but knives that small aren’t typically intended for super hard use where you need to squeeze the hell out of the handle hard enough for it to be a issue.
I agree with you about the drop shutty action. I don't like when a knife just falls shut. I like having more detent and no blade play as well.... love your videos! Lots of great content.💯

Sean, when you going to do a vid of how to polish a blade like your Para 3. Doesnt have to be full length, you can keep the editing down by keeping it short but giving us the basics. Come on brotha !! Get back to teaching, that's what made you stand out. I can watch knife vids all day long. Thanks bro !
