I'm 31. Watched the movie when I was 7 or 8. I rewatched the entire series 1-5 in the original Japanese version in my 20s. Watched the old Digimon The Movie again recently. I must recognise it's lost it's original meaning, but I still find it so awesome in a completely different sense. Ofc it's full of nostalgia, but also fires you up to get your things together and face your struggles as a digi-destined would.

Tamers is the best season by far! The fact that Guilmon was made from Takato's imagination and the bond they had us unlike any Digimon/Tamer relationship!
A USHER Forgot to mention the other reason why I like the three leaders I said which is because out of all of them those three showed the most Courage since they all have that crest and because Fire is my favorite element.
Of all the bangers this movie had this one is my favorite! Just brings back such good memories when I was young and would watch this movie over and over again.
The best leaders are Tai, Davis, and Takuya. Tai has my favorite Mega Level Digimon. Davis is just awesome. And Takuya has my favorite Mega Level Warrior Digimon to it just seems like another Wargreymon but in a Warrior Digimon form.

really the only one of the five currently shown (excluding Ryo since he was mostly followed in games and was a pretty late addition to tamers) I didn't like that much was frontier. I feel like they loved the idea of Bio-Merging that was created in the previous series and decided to do that for the whole series. Besides that anything after Savers/Data Squad I just stopped watching cause it resembled nothing of the shows before it. Though I am keeping up with Tri, probably one of the best decisions they ever made. Though I am a bit shocked at the level of cowardice that Tai has been showing.
Frontier was also really good as well but it wasn't as good as the first 2 seasons. Especially not better than the first movie. That movie was amazing.
god I wish I was old enough to experience the early 2000s. this song is incredible along with the entire digimon franchise. uncovering all the ancient youtube videos is such a surreal experience and I so wish I could've experienced them during their heyday and been a part of all this. there's a certain "DIY" charm to everything from this era that is lost in today's internet.

Hey Ryo might not have goggles but he defeated Milleniummon witch is DNA Digivolved form of Machindramon and Kimeramon he is seen briefly in season two of his data getting deleted on a sandy field right before Ryo in one of Ken's flashback memories some of Millenniummon's data got transferred into Cyberdramon his partner Digimon that is why he was so hard Digimon to maintain as seen in season 3. Yeah the Series doesn't go deep into that story but in the comics or if you read bout it that is the backstory of that past vision Ken has where you can notice Millenniummon make a cameo appearance of his data getting deleted. Just thought it was one of those obscure canon stories that isn't explained in the series I'd like to share.

I think you're right, season 3 had better graphics and over all made more sense to the kids who like explanations and all that. The only thing I didn't like about season 3 was the digivolutions.
