I love how Diaboromon has the brains to attack while its opponent's are digivolving. Granted it's because of slow processing, but I still loved how it made it clear how powerful Diaboromon is.
The whole idea of Keramon/Diaboromon is OG and creative concept in this movie he is a metaphoric computer virus on a global scale this movie was special because it not only introduced this iconic villain of the movie series but also DNA Digivolving too I remember how in theaters me and my friends jaws dropped when we saw Omnimon for the first time!!
Mostly because movies tend to get better budgets for their soundtracks. The show wasn't nearly as popular in the West as Pokemon was, and the budget for the OST and merchandising reflects that. Anime in general was still figuring itself out in the West, seeing what worked and what didn't, that's why the quality of English dub OSTs can be all over the place. Plus it was a kids show, and "Hey Digimon" was super catchy. I was 5 or 6 when it first aired in America and I very clearly remember jamming out to that opening every morning while eating breakfast. The soundtrack of this movie is absolutely stacked, and I promise you that it did not come cheaply either. The English dub had a couple musicians create original songs for the movie, along with licensing a handful of top tier songs from the era. I know you didn't need me to tell you that, I'm just emphasizing how much money they spent on the music to essentially spoil us. When Season 1 came out, they weren't ready to take that gamble. By the time the movie came around, they were. Also, licensing a song for a movie is way cheaper than doing it for a show so that'd be another reason the Season 1 music is so basic. Rewatching season 1 these days can be pretty rough with the constant "Hey Digimon" though, so I feel that. It's nice to relive the nostalgia but by the second time it comes on you're like "Annnnnnd skip"
@@99mage99 I just wish they'd redub the show like Funimation did with Dragon Ball Kai. Brave heart, for example, works much better as an insert song due to the way it's structured.

screw anime logic

@@corpsedesecrator2612 he was such an early DNA digivolve that it wasn't even called that yet. They retroactively made him the first later on
Diaboromon broke one of animes major rules. No interrupting powering up or interrupting transforming
@@lunchbox2250 To be fair that is a stupid rule and any villain that allows it deserves the oncoming whooping.
Wargreymon is a demon with those hands 🦖 👊
It's a tragedy that this, Here We Go and Run Around aren't on spotify
Actually Here We Go, Run Around, One Week, and All My Best Friends are Metal Heads are on Spotify
iTunes either 😢
Plus the whole soundtrack is on UA-cam
You know this movie has no right to look this good this long after It's release
Mamoru Hosoda is a genius. We need more movies like this and Summer Wars,
Forreal
It's timeless!
The animation of Mamoru Hosoda is TIMELESS
man, this movie, its just something you had to be there for
Bandai: it's just anime that's being dubbed for the US, no need to really go hard.
BRĒDLAND:...... I'M GOING DIGITAL
Old but gold
I can't be the only one who would jump into the digital world in a heartbeat. Give up one life for another ☺️
Me too…. Kinda
Totally
100%
Agreed
I'm glad I randomly get a response to this one.
Glad if it happened I would have a team of other Digidestined with me.
And that's awesome 🤷😂
I love how Wargreymon Sucker puchs him it was the best part
Over 5 years and this song is still a bop. the animation looks so nice too.
it's 23 years
My Childhood
I used to watch this on repeat back in 2021
SUPREME CANNON!!!!
I totally hear NOFX/The Offspring inspiration in this track.
v good audio quality 👌 thank you!
NOVA FLAAAAAMEE!!!!
classic movie right here.
is this the only time where a US company butchering the source material somehow made for a BETTER anime movie
Thabks for the upload
This was and still is my favourite of the 90s movies
I’m going digital is awesome
if only every battle against a virus was like this
Help try to convince my roommates to watch this movie.
Watch this masterpiece
Interesting soundtrack.
Tell them about the death count in digimon. For kids show there over 6 dead a season making as good show for adults as much as kids.
DO IT!! You'll miss out on one of the greatest movies ever made
Literally the best anime film.
Keep the original pacing and gravity from the JP Parrotmon encounter, but use the EN voice lines and whistle+finale.
Why didn't we get songs like this in season 1? I'd take this over hey Digimon.
The music was the worst part of the show. Imagine i they had more than 2 tracks and the animation of the later episodes throughout the show.
@@Troopertroll Not in the Japanese version. Brave Heart kicks ass!
@@superpaytonmars8852another good song

Okay, hear me out, if we had this, why was it absolutely necessary to make the Digirap?
Digirap was a play on the dub theme song
Because I enjoy it in all its cheesy glory
Because the digivolution is up and coming
The version that played at the start of the movie was way better than the official released version.
Less awkward sounding.

Parrotmon: “Why do I hear boss music?”
👍🏻
Original by Jason radford
♥️💙💚💛💜
This isn't even used on dioboromon it's used on the parrotmon
Wargreymon: Just because I exist in a anime where we yell out our attacks while using stock footage doesn't mean I can't throw these hands!
