You use the relics you have (especially as a F2P) until you have to start upgrading them because you don't auto fight enemies on the map for the millions of exp you can a week.

@@Twentizz yep just like Axel said, it is crowd control. These refer to debuffs that stop movement or impede it or take away your control of your unit. Like the two examples given and we can also include Kafka's dominate and the deer boss tree's outrage that forces your unit to attack it

I've saved my fuels for when I hit TBL 65, and I'm glad I did, bc it helped me a lot in progressing with my Blade build. And yeah, I agree, they made that monkey so tanky for no reason, it's just a relic domain, why does this boss have so much hp...
My hot take which i dont know if it is, is that i prefer genshin's 5 piece artifact design over hsr's 6 piece.
It allows you to have an offpiece, especially if your offpiece is exceptionally good.
Hsr you gotta commit to the 4p set with no room for error since 2 of the 6 slots is strictly reserved for the planar ornaments.
like damn how long will it take to find a piece on set that has better crit subs than some random offpiece I rolled hoping to just have leveled up relics slotted
That is understandable preference tbh, for Me Genshin and HSR is just the same, prob because I enjoy Relics and Artifacts farming, seeing all thoose right stats and double crit is just dopamine

Its basically the same. In genshin you need 4 piece to activate the artifact passive 4 piece passive. In HSR you every battlepass cycle you can craft your desired main stat.
Kafka looks like a super interesting and fun character, but I second your thoughts on the character, and I feel like the community as a whole, that realization is starting to sink in that she's such a "high maintenance" character for your account. One thing I haven't even seen most creators address is that in addition to having to build DoT characters that will technically only really pop off on one half of MoC since there's only one Kafka to go around (meaning you'll STILL have to build a regular hypercarry DPS team on the otherside anyway), you have to consider elemental weakness matching too. And anyone who's played this game knows at this point how important that is. Even though Kafka does "unlock" DoT teams, you'll still want to match elemental weakness with the enemy you're fighting, meaning not only do you have to level up DoT characters, but you essentially have to level up a DoT character of every element. Or you're okay with Silver Wolf being forever tied to Kafka, assuming you also pulled for Silver Wolf. So not only do you have to build a whole full roster of DoT characters for every element but ideally, you also want your hypercarry side to have decent elemental coverage, unless you're okay with pushing your leftover 4 star DoT characters you're not using on Kafka's side as your 2nd team, which anyone can already tell you is not going to be optimal.
Again, that doesn't make her a bad character, nor am I advising anyone to not pull for her. If anyone reading this likes her, pull for her for sure. I just wanted to push back against other content creators that aren't Tenha saying stuff like, "Kafka is the most F2P friendly limited banner pull!" when she clearly is not, she's honestly one of the least friendly F2P characters imo.
Also don't forget that you need to build 4+ characters (Sampo-Luka-Asta-Pela/SW) just to make 1 team. Inconsistency and high investment for okay and niche performance, imo.

Also what most people fail to see is about her build, most people said she's easy to build since she doesn't need CR and CD while in fact she's the same with other character. Just because said character doesn't need specific stats doesn't mean they're easy to build because every character need some specific stats (in Kafka case it's most probably she gonna need effect hit rate and maybe attack) and with that she's gonna as hard to build as other characters.
TLDR: just because she doesn't need CR and CD doesn't mean she's easy to build compare to others because in fact she still need specific stats.

Well i mean...i don't think there is anybody who doesn't have at least 1 hypercarry team with a strong dps...literally 3/5 character banner were dps and at worst you must have somebody else to replace them that you pulled from standard banner or losing the 50/50...the only thing i agree is that Kafka is demanding to build other characters to work but people who want already know this and already prepared/accepted this fact, or they just don't care and pull kafka just because she is kafka
Recently ive been going all out on my bronya, because I managed to get S3 LC and E1, so I made her have 230% CRIT DMG, 131 SPD, 3.5K HP and 2K atk with wind dmg sphere so she can at least throw some 7K basic attacks when she can't buff (trying to position her rotation correctly), I have the wind set which i had from long time ago and I don't care about updating to hackerspace and I honestly don't regret it, my Blade is kinda like on almost A tier in Relic Score and he just one shot everything if I line all the burst with all the bronya buffs and SW defense shred stacked together and it's performing as good as my hyperwhale friends who neglected her buff. I honestly don't regret going all out with building her since she's gonna be generally good for every character i build.
The only golden rules i've been following has been, at least 125+SPD on all my characters, around 3.5-4K+ HP on Lv 80 and as much CV+ATK I can get on DPS. Then it's pretty much see if they can beat content with satisfactory results, if you get a B score in Relicscorer at Lv 80, then you're more than good enough to 3 star MoC.
3:00 serval and hook/himeko is still a potential choice, also other characters who can apply DoT via break. Waiting for ppl to experiment and prove it right bcs i dont really like this very "play by book" way of thinking. Its also the reason why we had that Blade drama few days ago
ive done 46 sim runs for a good wind main stat i feel this blade relic grind.. but I have gotten some sss pieces for him too
I blew all my fuel at TL50 for relics and its been quite the regrettable move. I didnt get much out if it anyways and TL60 arrived rather quickly too.. Also recommend saving fuel till TL60+ because 2 guaranteed relics per run with a chance of 3 is insane.
Not really. Ive watched a video that said that the 3rd 5* relic chance is around 10% so it's just better to start relic farming when it's guaranteed 2 5*
The third relics drops after 5 -10 runs for me so far. It’s nothing crazy. Tbh You can just start farming relic at tl60

havent much leveled other 4 stars like asta at lvl 50, March at lvl 20, then the rest are still level 1 like Sampo, QQ, Herta and Hook...
so.... looks like i better pull for Blade even without Luocha than Kafka?....

I managed to get Blade as my first five star (technically second got one from 50 wishes) winning 50/50 on my alt account and at first I thought he would suck early game but turns out I was kinda wrong. Now obviously when you're only like rank 35-38 you can't do much with him unless you rush story but I went ahead and got a four star version of his set for now because why not and right now I have him sitting at only 14% cr and 107% cd, once again you can't do much this early. Anyway I'm also using a 3 star light cone it's the one that increases crit rate while below 80% health at SI 3 and I team him with Yukong so his crit rate gets up there. At level 50 he's hitting 11k-14k (11k normal world 14k in SU with the right buffs) follow up atk when the crit actually hits so yeah.
My hp on him so far is 3197, my healer is only at like 2300. Now I know no one is gonna care about this or this has no meaing to the actual video...or that this comment is long which I apologize for but just wanted ppl to know I guess. Share my experience with him so far. Yeah I could have gone for him on my main which is at rank 63 but I'm saving for Jingliu which I have high hopes for. 48 pity with guarantee and we have like what around 4ish months until her release so ye.
Now my hot take on the community in general is I'm tired of all the stereotyping and such you can't pull a certain character without being a certain sexuality, you can't simply like a female character without being called a simp, you can't play genshin without being called a p-phile. Like all this stereotyping is what ruins the game for me, also the fact that everyone calls the characters mommy or daddy which nothing wrong with that it's more of a me problem as to why I hate it. But can't do much because like 90% of the community is like and yeah don't get me wrong you do you but it just gets annoying after awhile. Yes I get I can just stop playing the game but it's such a great game and it's a lot better than some of the other ones I play so I'll live with it for now. Sorry to be offensive if I was it wasn't my intention.

My Blade is still two pieces off and could have a better HP% rope but still hits like a truck. I used all my Fuel and didn't even manage to get decent 5 star SPD or HP% boots or any decent substats on a 5 star helm.
Did the same thing also and just decided to mass dump my fuel into his relics and didn’t get anything good either…but like you say he still hits like a friggin truck

I agree with you completely about CD vs HP. HP is better because it's easier to build and that's about it. If you got a great CD chest then you obviously use that over HP. I think the bigger problem is that people are too lazy to understand how to actually build their characters properly with regards to what they have access to, and rather just be told what to do even if it at all doesn't describe their in-game experience whatsoever. It's just really bizarre as a mentality to have to me.
You can use HP% body cause you can get crit substats... However, the wind damage boost relic is a good option overall... Just because you don't get damage boost substat...
Another opinion, if Blade is your only source of damage, then max out his damage (crit body and wind damage boost) and you should bring someone to sustain him and his buffers... If you have other source of damage, then you can afford to make him tankier...
Just for the record, even with crit body and wind damage boost, he can still reach 7k max HP which is still a lot tankier than almost pure HP Natasha...

My Blade is Missing a lot of Crit Rate and Crit DMG. Haven't found a Good Crit DMG Body with HP% and Crit rate, Tried to Craft 2 with my Resin, Got one with 2 flat stats and only one good HP% stat. Then got one with 2 Spd but Double Defense. Even without Extra Crit damage and enough Crit Rate to activate Salsotto he still goes Hard at the Enemies, Getting a decent amount of time 10-30k Damage and tops out at 51k Damage with a support Bronya. My Current Crit rate to DMG Ratio is 31-47%/84% My Goal for Crit Rate to DMG Ratio is 45-61%-140% Crit DMG. If only a Good Crit DMG body that has Crit Rate SPD and HP% and only rolls into those stats. For SPD, If I had my own Bronya (Sit next to Bronya only to get my second Copy of Bailu's Signature LC) I would probably give her 50-100% more speed then my Blade so a lot of the Time she could go after him allowing him two turns and some support Bronya's I came across had the Default 99 speed which is a bit too slow

I'm actually looking for good relic with spd substat since my Blade only has basic spd 97. I kept found nothing and was about to kept grinding until some random friend on my fl chat me saying "thanks for the Blade, I used yours since the released, he hit like a goddamm truck", thanks to him I got 10k~20k credit daily (I think).
That alone made me stop focusing on him and just improving other units. 😅

Yep. And relatively easier to get. I say relative because after about 6 days of farming I still had to craft Hands for him. Also never got any crit body.

Skipping Kafka for now because I don't have interest in building her+the current roster of dot (I only like Serval but after maxing Jing Yuan I am taking a break from all other erudition characters). I'll get her in the future because she's pretty and I like to collect. I've always hated the genshin personality of "you *need* this character to make so and so viable". I don't like Sampo and have no opinion on Luka. Excited for future dot characters I might use with her but as for right now if I pulled she would be benched for a while.
That said, she's also an easy skip because I want Lunae, Fu Xuan (I just want because I love her character, won't build right away), and eventually Jingliu. It doesn't make sense for me to pull for a character that I won't use with the current characters I like. All my current trailblaze resin is waiting until I see what Lunae's mats will be, since I doubt he will use the old imaginary boss? I imagine Jingliu might use the same boss as Yanqing since he's the only one that uses it and it's on the Luofu but even that's not guaranteed, so I'm just waiting a bit longer before going ham on their bosses and whatever their best relics will be. Genshin kind of screwed my perception and makes me feel like I gotta save my resin, but in HSR there's a lot less pressure since resources are scarce / drop rates are meh
I agree with the "hot takes," especially about relic main stats. With all the rng on relics and no room for error with access to an off piece, perfect stats are difficult even for whales, so main stats that are good/okay are overall better
I got a relic that has a main stat hp but it has crit dmg and crit rate ad its sub stats 😭

I’m farming for Bladr until he’s 8k Hp/136 Spd/ 84 Cr/200+ Cd. Longevous domain doesn’t want to drop any double crit pieces or a cd chest.
I feel like most players have a fundamental mental block when it comes to hp% scaling. Hp base is so much higher so the scaling is never 1:1 with crit. Crit dmg is technically better. But what is 2000 dmg compared to soloing moc10? To having more surviability and utility? Compared to getting pieces that are simply easier to farm? If someone is actually brain dead enough to farm for perfect crit for blade when they already have amazing hp pieces, you are mentally Ill. Say you want to whale, you could whale for another crit character and farm something else with bigger gap? Let’s put this to bed, it’s single player when it’s good enough with better utility, let it go

She's not so much the support as she is the pay off, unless you get her eidolons Kafka's main benefit is going to be able to proc dots, without giving your enemy a turn. Now with eidolons she turns into both a payoff and a support.
