- We show you exactly how to install the Orella Acoustics Subwoofer in the 2023 Tesla Model Y. The 2020 - 2022 has a slightly different interior panel. We will try to get a video of how to install one on that in the near future. Products can be found below.

Superb! 1M Subs around the corner. Top tier content and quality with your videos.
Thank you so much. We're trying really hard to produce top shelf stuff!!!!
Now do the 7 seater
Do you need to install a one side tape for insulation around woofer when going inside?
Would love to see how to install your system in the updated 16-volt system for the Model Y
it's exactly the same. That's what we have in ours.
So, is the second amp audio input coming from the factory amps output? I never knew that an amp could have amplified input. Or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your response! -Dustin
Correct. The high level output on the oem feeds signal to the orella amp.
Have you tested the frequency range with an oscilloscope on the subwoofer? If so, how low does it go?
Have not but it's substantially lower than factory and has way more SPL.
Does the price justify the means? These plug plays I’m sure sound better but they’re very expensive for what they produce. Compared to traditional sub and amps. Low power 8” sub can only improve so much.
It works very well, is completely hidden, retains your full trunk. I can't say the same for those who add an aftermarket sub with box/amp rack etc... Considering it's plug and play for $800 including the amplifier, it's a very good value. It's an easy install so that can save you a ton of money also.
Your subwoofer doesn't seem to have a neodymium magnet, if so, it is heavier and uses more power. Tesla uses the "small" neodymium magnet on their subwoofers precisely to save on weight and power. Can you elaborate on this please? I'm sure the difference in sound is big, but could you get better performance all around if you use the same type of subwoofer instead? There are other brands that seem to use those to stay on the low power and low weight while still adding a better punch from their subs. Thanks.
We are a suspension specialist so your questions are better suited for an audio shop. This is an affordable plug and play system that sounds great so we use it. It is heavier than the factory sub but negligible. I see larger weight differences in tire selections size for size.
Why do u keep the factory amp installed??
It's not hooked up. Might as well leave it in there. No idea. Lol.
Don’t you got trouble with the “power reduce, vehicle shut down” and the car won’t start?
No issues for us
Do you have a discount code? Tk
No sorry. Depending on your location the shipping might already be discounted since it's flat rate.
@@zevcentric thx. I guess Florida doesn’t qualify for free shipping
@@gustavobetancourt3623 there is no free shipping but I think it is flat rate $35 and I am certain shipping costs double that so you are definitely getting the better deal.
