    I just gasped when the WDT came out of the portofilter handle. I want one already 😮

    Hi Matteo, thanks for the review! About the cleaning of the filter screen, we find it very effective to clean with a soft toothbrush. Again, really great video and really enjoyed watching it.😄

      Really interested in buying this one for sure the only thing deterring me is the portafilter. Seems like an extra bit of hassle and potential fault points over time. Overall really dope machine tho!

    Hey Matteo, thanks for this review. I just received mine a couple of days ago, it's a lovely little machine! It works a lot easier than I expected and the coffee is delicious.
    It has some compromises of course, as expected from a portable machine. The amount of water and thus the yield is limited, and we don't have precise control over the temperature. I saw another machine, the Finespresso58, that seems to have a variation of this design that allows for bigger amounts of water. But I've no idea where they sell that.
    But on the upside it does work great for the typical use-case, we can take it wherever we want and we can make coffee silently if needed, so I'm pretty impressed.

      Hi, thanks for the comment. Yes I agree with you about the limit of amount of water you can place. And I was impressed to since the first espresso pulled out from that machine. Also the control you can have on the pressure it makes it fun to use

    i'm mypressi twist and Xbar user and this kind of Co2/tire pump espresso maker isn't new thing for me that's heavy, but the OreaV4 Wide/apex are fun but it made of sterling/copper/carbon would be amazing ! 😁

      You were lucky to get your Xbar, I, and many others, are still waiting to receive it after 3 years and out of pocket US$300!
      Xbar are thieves and scammers...

    Maybe if you put the pump on a soft microfibre bed it won’t be so noisy?

    Is 50 sec- 1 min the recommended time for a 40gm out shot ? I am at 30 seconds and wondering if I need to optimise.

    • @matteofromtheswamps
      @matteofromtheswamps  2 місяці тому

      it's 50 seconds because I do pre infusion, that stops the water flow for a few seconds. In theory there is no recommended time. Usually we say 28/32 seconds, but if the coffee tastes good at 40 why not. That is the most important thing. The taste

    Can you use a floor pump instead (which is quiet)?

    • @matteofromtheswamps
      @matteofromtheswamps  2 місяці тому +1

      The problem is that it's very hard to generate 9 bar manually with a pump, also is not very consistent and not very hygienic

      @@matteofromtheswamps A mountain bike "shock" pump is made for very high pressure like that - maybe if you get the pump and only use it for the espresso machine it's more hygienic 🤣
