@@obsessedanglingtv5723 ya starting to pick up. I seen your videos they are always awesome 😎
So sick bro! Love the videos
Means a lot man! Thank you!
What river
Colville pin reels have grip when they get wet. Check em out. Ill never go back
Thanks for the advice! I have a few really nice centerpins Like John Milners I just dont want to get all skein on then and make them look bad so i just use some lower quality reels to use for kings if that makes sense!
@@obsessedanglingtv5723 I agree 👍
What a day thanks so much Owen appreciate the opportunity!
Thanks for coming with us man!
Great video hard to believe is that time already. Can you let me know what main line you run also drop line. Congrats guys will be waiting for your next video
I run 15lb main line and 12lb leader down to a #4 golden egg hook on a 8’6 medium daiwa Legalis for trout/salmon
Chromium grey smoke is very good mainline for centerpins, I go with 16lb for salmon to a 12lb leader
For kings I run 23 pound blood run and for steelhead I run 16 pound chromium!
That’s all ya need! And the legalis reels are so good for there price! Tight lines brotha!
Yessir bro that the same line I run! But I run that for my steelhead! That line is a 10/10
sick video man! headed up king fishing next week!!! stoked to smash them all day!!!
Thanks man! Hopefully you catch a bunch of them bro!
🔥🔥🔥
🤙🤙🤙
Looks like things are heating up. I’ll hit ya up next week. I’ll be coming up and camping over Labor Day.
Yessir bro lmk man! Hopefully you can rail out on kings
You think that 23lb line preformed well? I’ve got 15 but I’m not sure it’s enough.
Ya know I only us it for kings but I can safely that I have never broken the 23 pound line on a fish!
Dude I run 8lb out here in Ontario and I haven’t broke one yet
You don’t need to horse them in and then you won’t break them
@@alexclouthier9059 you may be a much better angler than me and I have never fished your river...but a lot spots I fish lake Michigan side have A LOT of wood. If you don't horse them at least a little they will run right into the wood and break off the leader. Again maybe you have mastered that with the 8#...but I'm going to stick with my 15# flouro leader and 25# main line for the river.
Is that a redband 45?! If so how you liking it? I got one a few weeks ago and can’t wait to take out to the Niagara & Lake Erie Tribs
I saw this also. Genuinely curious on this pin
All honesty it’s a decent reel especially for starters… I would fish it over my really good steelhead pins for steelhead but for skams and salmon Amit works great!
Also where do you get your supply of skein from or recommend where I should get it from? I also have the lamiglas redline with a redband, great minds think alike.
I will normally go for the early kings and get my skein then or I will hit the rivers super early and get it there or just get some of it off my friends lol!
Let’s gooo💥
Let’s goooooooooo🤙
Queefz. 🙄
What line you use for kings on the pin?
I was using 23 pound bloodrun line!
What river u on and what harbors been producing jigging
Im sorry but I don't give the location of where im fishing at to respect the people and the river!
How do you like that pin??
All honesty it’s a good reel for kings and skams.. but it’s nothing like my super good steelhead pins
Gotcha. Thanks for input.
@@fishclinic6235 ofc man always here to help! And I will always give honest feedback!
Michigan or Wisconsin side!?
This is the Michigan side!
May I ask what river this is?
I'm sorry I don't give the location of the places I fish just the protect the river and the local fishermen! tight lines!
@@obsessedanglingtv5723 You act like I'm gonna come steal your spot, I'm not that type of person. If I come across it myself by accident that's a different story. I was born and raised in Michigan. I have to say tho, 98% of the other people I've ever talked to about salmon fishing here they give me their honest opinions and we exchange some spots. We don't own the water🤷🏻🤷🏻 I appreciate all the fisherman who aren't stuck up🙏
@@obsessedanglingtv5723 So you must get offended when you see out of staters here fishing? I absolutely love it. I've seen the same bmw every year in baldwin for 10 years, he's from New York. I've seen cars from all over the us, to come fish our rivers. I take pride in that. We're blessed with the amazing fisheries we have all around the state. So everytime I see a license plate that isn't from Michigan I smile.
@@rizzityrice6480 Im born and raised in Michigan as well man! your right we do have great fishing here! But honestly I'm not try to be stuck up at all I'm just not trying to blow the river up and name drop the river out of respect. some of my buddies in the past name dropped a river in Michigan and many people got very mad at them to the point where they about quit making videos... Im not trying to protect my fishing spots because it is public water and anyone can fish it... I am just protecting the river its self
