    Great content. Thank you. Do you also use the 2.5" lens to cut the laserette? Also are you mostly selling these patches locally?

    Incredibly informative video. The Bolt Pro is a beast of a machine.

    Great video, and as always you offer detailed info. I do have two additional questions about the bed size. Towards the end of the video you mention the Pro 22 can fit a whole leatherette sheet without having to trim it. The Thunder website shows the work area is 22"x15". So does it offer extra space on the edges to allow the full sheet to fit, with the leatherette sheets being 24" long? I see you run the tumblers for a small time. Are you able to engrave ones with handles? I see people say you have to make alterations to achieve that. Thank you

      Yes there will be about an inch on each side that is not engraved but they do fit. If you look on the web site it will give you the max part size.

    Great comparison video! Is the actual cutting ability 20x12, or is that max the size of the material that you can place?

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  Місяць тому +1

      That is the actual cutting area of that machine. It’s a couple inches bigger than that both ways

    Great video! I noticed on the cutting tests, there was a lot of charring (especially on the 1/8" wood)...any thoughts about that?

    • @computercreationz
      @computercreationz  Місяць тому +1

      the head design for cutting on the bolt series will generate some residue on the surface, a quick sanding removes it quickly. the nova series is better suited for cutting with no char if you add external air.

      @@computercreationz thank you for the quick response. I wonder if anyone sells a replacement air-assist that shoots the air straight down...kind of like the upgraded air assist I have on my old diode. 🙂

    Thanks for your videos its been a great help.
    What do you think about this unit at a similar price compared to bolt plus?
    It seems like the bolt is better at engraving and nova is better at cutting, but its hard to understand the threshold - Like will it be noticeably poor quality engravings compared to bolt? Will bolt's cutting ability be slower and induce more burns?
    Thank you!

      @computercreationz  2 місяці тому

      If your cutting thicker materials more than 1/4 “ then the nova has the advantage due to its head design directing air flow straight into the cut where the bolt air delivery is angled. The speed difference between the bolt pro series and the nova is quite substantial and it you do allot of engraving the bolt series could save mountains of time

    Do you think the bolt pro could be your only laser if you just needed one laser? Or would you really miss the Nova?

    Hello Robert!
    Your long awaited Bolt vs Pro 22 comparison video is very nice. I’d like to see the Pro 22 cutting 1/8” colored acrylic pieces for inlay into a black background to make 3” diameter medallions. I’m still on the fence deciding which Bolt model to buy for my home/hobby use. Can you say what the max Z Depth is for the Pro 22 when using the PiBurn Grip rotary on the ROKO tray? During my short visit with you a couple months ago the Bolt had a max Z Depth of almost 7” when you chucked up one of my wood bowls sideways in the PiBurn to engrave a pattern the bowl’s outer rim. How wide a bowl can be engraved on the Pro 22?
    Thank you kindly!
