Grazie per questo video. Ho acquistato un Nacar con calibro OISA 1897, un po' diverso da questo (soprattutto nello scappamento) ma molte parti sono simili. L'orologio non era marciante, con pazienza ma soprattutto grazie anche a video come il tuo sono riuscito a revisionarlo completamente e a farlo di nuovo marciare correttamente. Sono ancora alle prime armi e questo tuo video è stato di grande ispirazione per me, il prossimo passo sarà realizzare una scatola in legno prendendo spunto dalla tua per dare ancora più onore alla storia di OISA. Non riuscirò a farla così bella, ma ci proverò. Il tuo è stato un lavoro magnifico, spero un giorno di essere alla tua altezza! Grazie, non vedo l'ora vedere altri tuoi video!

Brilliant video, brilliant restoration! I like the way you have improvised with the tools you use, even making your own watch movement cleaning machine. You were very brave to clean the dial like you did, but the results are excellent. Many people turn their noses up at cylinder escapement and pin lever escapement watches, but they are as beautiful as any other watch, and can also keep excellent time. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing many more of your videos! Regards from the UK!!

Ciao, grazie per aver guardato il video. Diciamo che è una mia scelta personale. Quando mi occupo di orologi che portano con sé una storia come questo, cerco di preservare il più possibile i segni del tempo. Esteriormente sono intervenuto, in via eccezionale, solo sul quadrante per eliminare la sporcizia che si era accumulata.

This is Cylinder Watch movement. No Lever.
Yes, of course. The cylinder escapement was often used in budget-friendly watches to cut down on production costs, even though it was less precise and reliable compared to other escapement types, such as the anchor escapement.
