Careful man, there's every chance you will die laughing yourself!!! 😂
You make it sound like a bad thing.
@@TallSilentGuy haha true! Can think of worse ways to go. Look at Tommy Cooper.
Ha ha!
Damn near did... :P
Danke Got et wast en German!
There's an episode by The Goodies called "Kung Fu Kapers", featuring the ancient Yorkshire martial art of "Ecky Thump", which involves hitting people with a black pudding. It became (in)famous because a man actually died laughing while watching it on TV. I don't think the episode is on UA-cam, but I've seen it on Dailymotion.
Eh by eck ! mate
That man who died laughing lived in Bournemouth. I remember seeing it on the local news when I lived there.
Lancashire, not Yorkshire.
@@tufty7026 You're right! For all these years, I've obviously been thrown by t' dodgy accent of Bill Oddie.
They were totally unique. Off their heads, yet brilliantly hilarious.
You get " Monty Python " or you don't You cant explain to anybody.... If you get it , every second of an episode has the humour running through it.... also it drives the ones who don't get it ... Insane !! LOL.
Dyslexia would be a super power against this killer joke.
What is bad about being a agnostic dyslexic insomniac?
Being kept awake all night wondering if there is a dog...😂😂
The whole inspiration of Monty Python's Flying Circus came from a sketch show they saw where they found everything leading up to the punchline funnier than the punchline itself, so they decided to just write sketches without a punch line.
EB👍nice one mate, you summed up Monty Python perfectly ' stupidity for stupidity sake' 😂 and it's great. Thanks buddy✌️
I have everything that Monty Python ever did. Brilliant!
Your Mom?
Fun fact: the dog joke supposedly told by Hitler in the sketch apparently works in German as well as in English - Mein Hund hat keine Nase. Wie riecht er? Freuchterlich!
He smells happy?? Try schrecklish 😉
@@grannym2880 Sorry, I meant furchterlich - frightful or dreadful. Happy is frohlich isn't it? But it's almost 40 years since I learnt German.
Great reaction, another great sketch by Monty Python is The Hungarian phrase book. Monty Python`s flying circus was incredible when it first aired in the 70`s, a lot of it still stands the test of time but there were parts that dont work as well today due to them being topical to the times, notibly the political satire. However there is still a lot to explore.
Mu nipples explode with delight!
My nipples explode with delight!.
These geniuses laid the foundations for all leftfield British comedy since 😂
Great reaction. I would like to add a few suggestions:
- The society for putting things on top of other things
- Spanish inquisition
- The Ministry of silly waks
- Dead parrot sketch
- Cheese shop sketch
- The dirty fork
- Dirty Hungarian phrasebook
Enjoy!
😉👌❤️
he has done the cheese shop sketch and dead parrot sketch

Monty Python is pure uncensored comedy GOLD. Just being 110% silly and not trying to make any sense at all.
I know I’ve said it before but damn that laugh of yours is so damn contagious 😂😂😂
The sheer rediculousness paired with British humor was phenomenal and revolutionary.
Should have edited to spell ridiculousness properly. :)
@@elemar5 residial rudiculence is risible enautgh
Now imagine discovering this wonderful wacky would of MP as a school kid!
It was as much a part of growing up for many of us as a spot on the face!
Watched Python as a teen and I'm pretty sure that's why my sense of humour is quick. 71 now but never fail to catch anything Python .. yes even their films, absolutely brilliant.. Thank you so much for making my Friday night, just in time now for the kick off of this years Six Nations Rugby Ireland v France...
When my brother & I rolled kicking around the floor at python stuff, our dad thought we had become bonkers as he didn't think any of it was funny at all.
In the same way, years before the Pythons, my dad couldn't see why we as teenagers, fell about laughing hysterically at the Goons.
I see you have presciently ensconced yourself in a joke-proof room. Well done!
Still one of my favorite sketches, it's so stupid, it's so good ;)
The Monty Python team were great. If you can find them The Ripping Yarns tales (2 series) starring Michael Palin are worth a watch
Tomkinson, a school days was a classic...😊😊😊
The Testing Of Eric Olthwaite!@@eamonnclabby7067
@@eamonnclabby7067 Golden Gordon 😂 I think you can get them on youtube but it may be a regional thing. A typical episode is 26-29 minutes long
They have been added to youtube.
Somehow I missed this one when it came out, but all the Python shows do pose serious danger to the listener, breathlessness, stomach cramps, and so on.
Back in the late 70s/early 80s, there was a rash of Punk bands named after Monty Python bits (Piranha Brothers, X-Parrot, and so on). The most successful was an English group named Killing Joke.
Incredible, this went out in 1970...! What tickles me is that a vast majority of the population watching Python...didn't know what the hell was going on!!
I love monty python, loads of brilliant quirky sketches but one of my all time favorite is the mountain climb one where it looks like there's a line scaling a mountain until the camera pans back and they're actually lying on the pavement shimming along on their hands and knees!!! Hilarious!!! Especially as one of them 'falls' off at the end!!! 👍👌
Quality 👍 .. I always laugh at this but watching you I was pishin' meself all the more ... Brilliant Al 😆
what ever happened to stupidity and silliness 🤣
When British soldiers start talking German, you can't tell which side are the axis and which are the allies. 😆
Hahaa…so nice that Monty Python is back !….Our parents despaired of us kids back in the day when the Pythons were new to our tv screens!
The fact that adults can now appreciate and enjoy their “nonsense” is wonderful to me 😄💕 thanks for sharing 👍✨
Alan, please never stop your reactions. Your laughter is infectious and I loved this video.
These guys are so hilarious! 😂 😂😂 I so love Monty Pythons!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the name “Earnest Scribbler”
We had a lot of BBC programming here in Canada back in the 60s, Flying Circus was my introduction to the Pythons, been a fan ever since.
No Way , I can't believe You found this Skit.
Very Funny and it Pissed off My Old Man for some reason.
I couldn't stop Laughing at Hitlers Comeback.
One of their funnier sketches, up there with the best of them. My favorites are Upper class twit of the year and Mosquito hunter.
I watched all these when the show was on first time around, on Sunday nights; I think. Dad wasn't too impressed. The influence of Spike Milligan (who had 'Q' running contemporaneously with weird sketches)on the MP team was noticeable. Spike was in Life of Brian, just a cameo. The MP learnt their skills in BBC Radio sketch shows and early TV shows, "Written by and starring The Goodies' Tim Brooke-Taylor, Monty Python's Graham Chapman and John Cleese, and comedy legend Marty Feldman, "At Last the 1948 Show" is a groundbreaking, splendidly silly and surreal sketch comedy series" IMDB
Wait until "SPAM" which is the origin of unwanted email.
The best Monty Python movie ever is, The Meaning Of Life.
Just my humble opinion..
😂👍❤️🥳
Life of Brian, 100%
Monty Python and the Holy Grail. 150% Comedic gold and infinitely quotable...
This is one of my faves.
I love all things Monty Python, really glad you have started to react to them!
As an interesting aside, that war & fighting scene was shot in the New Forest in Dorset, U.K., not far from where I used to live.
Absolute comedy gold Al, I used to watch the re-runs of Monty python in the 70's as a kid and I still lose it and piss myself laughing exactly as u did yourself. Those guys were geniuses.
Loved in man and I laughed as much when u lost it as well. Thanks for that buddy, everybody deserves a little Python to brighten up their day.👍😂
i loved the goon show radio show it has an equally chaotic energy and the pythons took a lot of inspiration from them
I’m so greatly happy I’ve come back to your channel 😂😂😂😂
Monty python was the height of stupid comedy and it worked so well 🤣
this stuff always makes me cry, no kidding! 😂
Military working in joke-proof conditions.
They have a Very Funny Scene in " The Meaning of Life " when they are in a Hole about to attack the Enemy.
Brown Nosers .
Peace Oot Bud
Monty Python are gods, eternal stuff.😉👍🍺🥃

Bicycle Repair Man is a must see
You didn't get the German V joke?. Two Peanuts walking down the street. One was A.salted; Peanut :)
British humour at it's illogical finest. Our surreal humour is the best.
I think you might want to check out "The Goodies" they they where daft and funny.
Anyone remember, black pudding Bertha..?..
@@eamonnclabby7067 Eckie Thump, I just listened to it.

I’m too hungover for this 😂😂
Wow, long time no see, channel is rockin bro.
@theeclecticbeard - have you got the entire boxed set of Monty Python’s Flying Circus? Most risible! 😂
You used to be able to put the German text of the joke into Google Translate and get the response: "[FATAL ERROR]". Unfortunately they've changed the algorithm and it now just partially translates the text (it's not actual German, it just resembles it grammatically)
The original premise is stupid, silly and ridiculous as you say; but everything after that seemed like a logical progression.
Timeless and inoffensive. Brilliant comedy never never dies.
I grew up with MPFC. I used to listen to the Goon Show on the radio which kind of leant it's humour to MPFC. It was a time of a brand new genre of comedy.
Electric
Take a look at a thing Eric Sykes did in 1993, it
was called 'The Big Freeze', done in 1993, Syes' I would say in his early 60's.
You'll be glad you did...
It's.. 'He...He...He...larious', and I've only seen the first 6 or 7 minutes...I'm getting back straight after I've sent this.
It's 'Star studded, and on

Fun Fact
Mel Brookes was at the Battle of the Bulge.
When the Nazi's Retreated back , They were Yelling Nazi Propaganda at the USA Troops on Loud Speakers.
Mel Brookes said Screw that , No Nazi was going to Up Stage Him.
So He jumped onto a Halftrack with a Loud Speaker and Started Singing Jolsens Song with a Twist , Nat Nat Nat Nazi Good Bye , Nat nat nat Nazi Don't Cry while He is Dancing the Goose Step.
Just like in His first movie The Producers
Very Funny
Peace OOT
😂, Love the reaction EB, think a word you might better describe Pythons humour as is "Zany"
Too many good Python skits. You'd like the Yorkshiremen, the battle of Pearl Harbor and the Spam sketch
May I suggest a reaction video THE ROYAL ARMOURIES it's a museum in Leeds England full of weapons from history from suits of armour of kings THE LION ARMOUR THE HORNED HELMET OF HENRY VIII are masterpieces. Last month they did decorated weapons from a gold plated TABUK from Saddam Hussein regime to a gold plated sten gun to lugers I highly recommend taking a look you won't believe the workmanship plus they have horses and elephant armour 👍
A visit to the royal armouries in leeds 4k by the channel leodis leather is a good video
@@nothernmonkey8612...having g visited there ,absolutely Brill...the fish and chips there is top class...
I went a few months ago again, they had a performer living through the D-day landings -gun fire, blood, death,- to a bunch of about twenty schoolkids, a few teachers and me. My uncle was wounded in France. The museum is amazing. I hope the weapons are in working order, we might need them soon.
Hi there John here from England again love your videos
Hello Alan. I commented before that I recommend a Python spin off called "Ripping Yarns". My favourites are the Yorkshire based ones, which I enjoyed even more than the Goodies' "Ecky Thump" mentioned in another comment, so watch at your own risk.
I like how if you put the German version into Google Translate, it comes up Fatal Error.
Nice to know that Google does have a scene of humour.
British humour has to be the funniest humour, in my opinion, in the world. The Brit’s are the absolute masters of comedy. 👏👏
And I’m not British, I’m an Aussie
German Humour is a Serious Business and No laughing Matter.
"I say, Isay - My Dog has no Nose"
"What, no nose! How does it smell?"
"Bloody awful!""
I have to add a suggestion. I don't know if you've already reacted to it before, but if you liked Monty Pythons stuff, I suggest you watch
'Biggus Dickus - Monty Python's Life of Brian'.
That will have you rolling on the floor laughing! and I'm not exaggerating. I must of seen it over 50 times and it gets me every single time!
I mean, I may be in the process of editing a Life of Brian reaction from a Patreon watch along for youtube but I won't spill too much.
So weird that you said that. Hubby & I were laughing & quoting things from Life of Brian just yesterday and of course Biggus Dickus and Incontinentia came up? 😁
There's a Fawlty towers theatre show coming soon I heard
The German V joke. Comedic geniuses
When people takk about Pgthon, it tends to be the dead parrot or the cheese shop sketches that get top billing, but the deadly joke and the man paying for the argument have always been my favourites.
"Ministry of Silly Walks" is right up there. ;) and "Spanish Inquisition."
Though I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for "fish slapping dance." **thwap!**
It will be too bad if their Undertaker Sketch is never shared. That and the Dirty Vicar sketch need sharing IMO
You have to try the Fish Slapping Dance too.
Yup, Monty Python has the very best silliness ever! Enjoy 🎉
They were influenced by The Goons radio show, in which John Cleese was an announcer for a while. They comprised of Spike Milligan, Harry (Seegoon) Secombe, Peter Sellars, and Michael Bentine for a while. Their material was just as looney tunes as these guys. There are some of there radio shows on here that you may want to check out. Brilliantly written, with an array of regular characters, and superbly performed, even though at times they have to break character due the hilarious scripts. If you like Python, you'll love The Goon Show.
And alongside the Goons Round the Horn is worthy of a mention, I still can't believe they got away with broadcasting some of what they did at lunchtime on a Sunday, especially the Julian and Sandy sketches ( with legend Keith Willaims and Hugh Paddick) at a time when homosexuality was still a criminal offence, they don't get credited enough with being pioneers in bringing such characters into the British home in a way that endeared people to them rather than cast them as degenerate in some fashion as most media of the time did. Comedy is under credited at times in helping shape societal attitudes. And as shows like the Frost Report and Python themselves would undermine the pompous, ridiculousness of the British class system so shows like Round the Horn ridiculed and challenged Britain's societal attitudes of the time. Real pioneering brave comedy. Julian and Sandy sketches, and indeed whole episodes of Round the Horn are on youtube and well worth digging out.
at great risk i tracked down the german form of the joke "Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput!"
@The Electric Beard. You should watch 'The Armstrong and Miller Show | Hitler Has Only Got One Ball' as it's along the same lines about taking the piss out of the germans. With Armstrong and Miller it is a song, and is used as a secret and britains greatest weapon,. Worth a look.
something completely different

Try what did the romans do for us.
Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer?
Ja! Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput.
Is what they say German sounding words but not actually words.
So THIS Is why you can't joke about the Ts.....
The best part about the joke is the fact that even if you take the German version and attempt to translate it into English, you will find that it is complete gibberish nonsense. It's just a jumble of a few real German words mixed in with a bunch of made-up German-sounding words, using a proper sentence structure to make it sound like real German to anyone who doesn't actually speak German. So, a real joke used as the "killer joke" doesn't actually exist...they never actually wrote a joke.
Brilliant on another level.
That's not true, they did but the BBC were told by the lawyers that they couldn't broadcast it due to the possible casualties
😂😂😂😂❤
I didn't think the Germans had a sense of humour.🤣😂
I wonder if it actually made sense to people. Apparently, it's just gibberish. Lol
...if terrible wars could only end like that one...historical truth by the way...what Monty tells us. About Snacks. I mean fatcts. Every person should die laughing! If God have a sense of Humor...
I don't know if you've seen this try Les Dawson - surprise surprise -I've got you babe
