I have lost 30kg in 8 months without going to the gym.Just walking 1 hour 30 mins everyday and intermittent fasting.Never thought i could lose the weight because i have been obese all my life. When people start complimenting my weight loss i feel more motivated to continue.True, consistency is the key.Never give up
I was 130kg. I'm now around 97. I found I also sat on Facebook just scrolling through crap and getting depressed. Had a moment where I thought I got to change my life. I no longer have any social media. I just finished a half Ironman. Mind over matter
Very true.. feeling motivated is great but there’s going to be many many times that you have zero motivation but you go to the gym anyway to stay accountable to your dreams and goals
I love seeing people do this. To many people are saying there is nothing wrong with being fat. People are glorifying being obese. You don’t need to be this skinny model type but you need to be healthy. You don’t need to eat salad every day but you need balance. You only get 1 life.
100%. i mean, look at people like tess holiday; being a "model" at whatever weight she is; regardless she's morbidly obese and everyone knows that. when i was younger i always thought the word "model" in reference to a person, meant that that's who you can aspire to be - a role model. she's modelling for a reason. to get money, to get more people to want to be like her, etc. it is SO god damn inspiring to see someone WORK their asses off to be able to lose any amount of weight, as long as they're doing it for the right reasons of course. but more and more people are glorifying obesity and i'm not sorry when i say this, but it's disgusting.
Consistency is key! Working out when you dont feel motivated just being consistent and dont give up! I lost 3st in lockdown calorie counting and exercising at home. Building up from 10 mins a day to an hour five times a week. I'm 43 I have 7 kids and I'm fitter now than in my 20's! It was only when I finally realised results dont happen overnight it takes time and effort once my mindset changed i changed my body !
*Diana's journey to lose weight and prioritize her health was both inspiring and relatable, and I admire her courage in sharing her story with others.*
I lost 60 kg and have kept it off for 40 years. It really is about finding a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable for you. If the diet or exercise program isn't something you can live with for the rest of your life, it will not work long term. No one has the will power to last decades.
I'm on my journey too.... Weights are important. Especially women, often skip weights and just do a bit of cardio. Its a fatal error. Building lean muscle and strength under that fat layer is key to making progress.
I have been overweight ever since I was a child. It's been a struggle. I was bullied all my life for it by friends, peers, my mom, and my sisters. My mom is also overweight BTW. But in five years a lost 13 kilos. And my mom was inspired to lose weight because of me (she said to herself *if she can do it I can type of situation*). While she lost weight during covid I gained it almost all back. while I'm happy for my mother the bullying and the passive-aggressive comments have gotten worse. My dad is no better too. I love them all. I know they think they are helping me but they have shattered my self image and self confidence about my body. Now I'm 26 and am going to start my weight loss journey hopefully for the last time. I promise I am going to comeback and update you all after I have achieved my goal weight built my self image and self worth. I know it won't be long now. . I wish anyone who is struggling to overcome their food addiction and self sabotage and triumph over it all.

Changes take time, and your hard work is clearly paying off, Diana. Don't settle for where you are now; keep challenging yourself! Remember, exercise should be complemented with healthy food, and don't overlook the benefits of supplements. I suggest incorporating Tongkat Ali into your routine; it promotes muscle growth, aids in muscle recovery, and supports weight loss, among other benefits. If you have any questions, do ask!
I've been using standardised hot-water Tongkat Ali root extract for a while now I wholeheartedly agree! it's been incredible for my workouts and for preventing that dreaded "plateau" with diets
For losing weight y'all have to do is, calorie deficit, control your portion, cut off sugar and any kind of additional oil, and reduce intake of rice, eat decent amount of fruit, drinking at least 2.5 -3 liters of water... increase intake of vegetables, spinach and protein... No matter what kind of diet you are on you have to eat less for maintaining calorie deficit...Make sure to take protein in every meal.. On a weight loss journey diet works 80% and workout or any kind of exercise works 20% Additional: gym mainly tone up your abs, legs, biceps, triceps, glutes, neck and shoulder...
Faulse. People on carnivore are eating 3,500 calories a day and loosing weight because they are fat adapted and giving their bodies the correct nutrition.

I have lost 6kgs in just 13days with OMAD with high protein food and either morning or evening one hour of walk along with half and hour of weight lifting in home with 5kg dumbbells. I drink 5ltrs of water in a day and my skin already glowing with self confidence increased.

Yes you can loose weight by cutting calories, but at what cost? Nutrition is important.

A healthy weight loss pace is 0.5-1kg per week. Otherwise it's not sustainable and easier to gain the weight back
how much time did it took??

Eat fewer calories, get your steps in, weigh yourself every day, and make adjustments.
Not needed. Eat carnivore, increase calories, eat more fat, cut carbs. Be satisfied, reach nutrition goals and STILL loose weight.
