Another great video from the cool crew. Poor Ranger got soaked when you went up to that waterfall. The scenery was stunning as usual. With the bears waking up now keep an eye on Ranger as they will be very hungry.
Hahah I was laughing so hard. Poor Ranger lol. Oh yes those bears are all waking up now. We have our bear spray and flares on hand. Ranger is so friendly he would probably just try to walk up to one lol

Been to Bellingham a number of times and often wondered what boating was like in a cold climate. I was boating in Georgia at the time. Like my time boating it was always relaxing and wonderful. No longer a boat owner, I am able to relive some the best of mine and your boating experiences. Done the Navy thing. You guys have it nailed, it is so peaceful. Said this before but thank you for sharing this part of your life for those of us who can live through your adventures. I always lower my BP watching your cinematography. Can't wait with you on your adventure to retirement. Please keep sharing. Know you both are appreciated.

I think Ranger makes our boat time more enjoyable. Just watching how he reacts to things makes us laugh. I really wish we didn’t have to work min to Friday so we could get further out of our channel into the big waters to explore more!

Hey guys, as always a very nice snap shot of cruising and exploring. I can’t believe that our four year plan to make the move from Edmonton to Vancouver Island to do some extended cruising on our boat is less than a month away! To that end I have a show suggestion, how you guys go about rigging for salmon, this is something I have never done on my own so getting some basic information would be awesome! It’s just a thought I certainly don’t want you to give away any secrets😊
Wow so excited for you!!! That’s exciting😀😀. Do you mean how do we fish for salmon? We have Scotty down riggers and 15lb weights. We slowly troll for the salmon doing 1.5 knotts. We have flasher and we use a hoochie! Wish I could draw it out for you! I like to troll at depths of 40-69 feet. But down on the island I heard you have to troll faster and deeper because of the currents.
You definitely need two Scotty downriggers $$. They are perfect for trolling for salmon. Any fishing store would sell them 👍
Have you guys seen the stabilizer that attaches to stern and spins like a sea keeper , kind of a “L” shaped shaft ?

I've been up in Northern BC several times. Not the best cell service. We had a Sat phone. Do you guys have one along for emergencies?
We have our Starlink! We have internet all over in remote places now! It’s just expensive $$ per month !
