being 100% honest, i have no idea how anyone could feel "heartbroken" by this. it's not just u it's literally all of twitter. i'm not even a cole fan i've hated on this man for damn near a decade. yes his diss track was weak. yes he needs to stop saying these rappers don't want the smoke with him. but as for the apology, he said he didn't feel like himself. he was peer pressured & regrets it. he fr put his ego down for the entire world to see. nobody else would do that man that's dope. people fr thrive off negativity & controversy. i swear it's like a drug. i'm glad this happened.
its because Cole is fine dissing other people with no regret and dropping transphobic bars casually, yet this response is what breaks the camel's back. yea he can feel regret. nothing wrong with that. what makes this situation bad for Cole is his apology does nothing but stand as a double standard to his prior and recent actions
@@GarbageDayProductions i agree, he's inconsistent. who isn't? i wish he would apologize to noname too. i didn't think it was a transphobic bar, necessarily (it's still a meh bar, nothing to apologize for tho) i still got problems with cole but what he did on that stage was a sign of growth & maturity. at least he didn't lie to himself even more just for entertainment. in a genre where it's required to have somewhat of a huge ego. this is a step in the right direction.
It’s hypocritical. It completely destroys his roll out, as yes it will probably still be great music, but it proves all the badass fronting he does is all for show. So yes, you gotta respect him as a human being for admitting it, but Cole fans can never claim him as the best. The “Ego” is a part of hip hop, without it, competition goes away.

This was a lose lose situation no matter how you try to spin it. If Cole never responded you would’ve had niggas call him a coward for not responding, if he did (which he did) you saw people call his stuff garbage, and now if he tries to be the bigger person by realizing he only did that to appease bored individuals, they would say he’s sorry. There was no positive outcome for Cole either way
