I went to see her giving a talk along with Wayne Sleep at a Hotel in Eastbourne a couple of years ago. She was amazing, tall, statuesque and articulate. When I was a child, I used to love reading ballet books, about her and Margot so I was thrilled to see her in person decades later. Because she was tall, she didn't get as many parts as Margot since ballerinas were meant to be petite so that they didn't tower over their male partners when on point. One of her famous roles was the Black Queen in Checkmate, which was choreographed by Ninette de Valois.
