@@truth2you where does it say that the people were left to go worship idols? Throughout human history messengers and prophets were sent to guide the people. Even in Old Testament you see many prophets come to correct the errors of their nations. A prophet comes with a message and after he leaves people corrupt messages to fulfill their whims and desires, which at that point a new messenger is sent to guide the people back to the truth. When we say Islam started with Adam, this means all the prophets were commanded to submit to Allah(swt) as was the case with all prophets. The Quran was revealed as the final testament which will be incorruptible until the day of judgement.

Appreciate the speakers trying to have a meaningful discussion and the participants willing to engage in such discussion. I feel this could have been a more concrete discussion if the speakers had tried to answer the guys questions in the simplest form possible instead of giving him a crash course on Islam right there and then. When you answer a simple question in the most technical and complex form this raises more doubts in the speakers mind than provide just answers. The very first thing the guy said was he is interested in knowing why the scriptures stay preserved and what science knows have changed as humans learn more about this. The simplest answer to that was Humans are limited in their scope of knowledge and understanding and as centuries past and more and more knowledge is transferred to them through research, books and intellect the concepts evolve and change. Whereas scriptures are not written by a man or human they are from a Devine being who knows all there is to it and the proof of that is the predictions that came with the book thousands of years ago which humans could never make though how far and superior their knowledge becomes.
The easy way out of the question of where did the universe come ftom, is "I don't know". But this answer does not give any solution rather it creates more problems.

at 33:40 , the gentlemen proposes the question of the pendulum saying it sways either way, it can never be in the centre. As the motions of the pendulum did have a action to start the swing, it will inevitable have all the motion dissipated and sit perfectly in the centre. Providing all other environmental factors are eliminated. it is a perfect analogy of Allah's existence. and the pendulum swing a perfect representation of life which eventually comes to an end.

Brother honestly i like the way you have a conversation but i think when they mention change they mean adaptation we as muslims can say that islam is sent for all times when something new occurs we can decide how to adapt it in an Islamic way which would lead to it being used in a perfect manner

“And of everything We have created pairs, that you may remember.” [adh-Dhariyat 51:49]
What the verse means is that Allah SWT, has created pairs of all created things; that is, two opposite types or counterparts, such as male and female, night and day, heat and cold, and so on. This is indicative of the perfect might of Allah, may He be exalted, Who creates whatever He wills. So He creates a thing and He creates its opposite, which differs from it in its characteristics.

@@truth2you where does it say that the people were left to go worship idols? Throughout human history messengers and prophets were sent to guide the people. Even in Old Testament you see many prophets come to correct the errors of their nations. A prophet comes with a message and after he leaves people corrupt messages to fulfill their whims and desires, which at that point a new messenger is sent to guide the people back to the truth. When we say Islam started with Adam, this means all the prophets were commanded to submit to Allah(swt) as was the case with all prophets. The Quran was revealed as the final testament which will be incorruptible until the day of judgement.

It says it in the Quran. The people where Muhammad lived were worshipping idols which is one of the reasons why Muhammad was chosen to reveal the Quran. So again, why were they left to worship idols if Islam started way before Muhammad? Seems to me if the Quran had been revealed with Adam it could’ve prevented the idol worship. Does it not!?!?!
Stephen is saying that it is inevitable that anything (e.g. Islam) present in a liberal society, will bound to change. He is missing the point that the Quran has not changed. Similar texts (Gospels, Torah) are no longer in original form, which might explain decreasing number of adherents, as the 'change' did not withstand the test of time.
People will just pick and choose like “Oh well everyone’s having sex before marriage so I’ll have sex before marriage who cares” “I can have a drink why not”, if you have this idea in your head Islam will remain true in liberal countries you’d be insane this is why you should stay in your respective ones.

Why do not you guys have a business card or something to give to people so they can watch your channel or get more information? Seems like a pretty beneficial thing to do.
Appreciate the speakers trying to have a meaningful discussion and the participants willing to engage in such discussion. I feel this could have been a more concrete discussion if the speakers had tried to answer the guys questions in the simplest form possible instead of giving him a crash course on Islam right there and then. When you answer a simple question in the most technical and complex form this raises more doubts in the speakers mind than provide just answers.
The very first thing the guy said was he is interested in knowing why the scriptures stay preserved and what science knows have changed as humans learn more about this. The simplest answer to that was Humans are limited in their scope of knowledge and understanding and as centuries past and more and more knowledge is transferred to them through research, books and intellect the concepts evolve and change. Whereas scriptures are not written by a man or human they are from a Devine being who knows all there is to it and the proof of that is the predictions that came with the book thousands of years ago which humans could never make though how far and superior their knowledge becomes.
He will be guided if Allah SWT wills.
