Rob is such a talented artist! It sucks that we Americans could not see their incredible work! Hope to see them live one day! Thank you Mickey for chatting with Rob!!

Rob says 'i need for people to not think it's a flop'. My son's a queer was and is HUGE. Rob is making massive change in our community, giving so much to so many that need their representation, and did a full show at the Garrick, and is going on tour! It can't be a flop, if the opposite of a flop already happened. ❤ If Broadway works, great, if it doesn't, the achievement is still there.

I'm so old, I remember when Rob was Dodger in Oliver saying in an interview that they were going to write shows when they grew up.

Fun fact, Jean Prouvaire is generally interpreted to be non-binary, so the fact that Rob played them is gorgeous casting

Just had the absolute joy of watching the matinee performance, truly affirming and cathartic and funny as hell. Rob is such a treasure, I can't wait for the bright (broadway and beyond) future ahead!

Julian Clarey doing BJ jokes is fine, but Rob Madge singing "I Am What I Am" is what's offending people... This totally sums up what's wrong with the world.

Rob is a beautiful human being as well as a huge talent, I'd love to see him play in a version of Cinderella where both are gay men. The prince searches for a Rococo unisex slipper....

Because the word started as a slur and many still consider it one. The attempt to "reclaim" it was never universally accepted, and now it has been taken as a moniker by non-homosexuals and thrown about, further infuriating the gays & lesbians that have always considered it a slur. Their pain being irrelevant apparently.

when I was in school lesbian was used as a slur/ gay was also used to mean bad and was constantly used negatively as well queer was not used at all really people are going to have different interpretations of words depending on their personal experience but I don't see that policing what other people call themselves leads anywhere productive.
