My most anticipated release next year is "Fuufu Ijou" otherwise known as More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers. I was praying this got picked up by someone and Udon answered my prayers by announcing a 2024 release 🙌🏽 lol. This is my favorite rom-com right now, even though it's technically a seinen. No date yet but definitely keep an eye on this! You won't regret it!
theres a ton of currently releasing series to get into and catch up on, i should be glad the releases are slow, it always seems like people just forget about series after the first volume comes out, still hopeful for the climber to get published tho
For next year, we have Medalist, The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity, Initial D Omnibuses, Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, In The Name Of The Mermaid Princess, Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc, Trigun Deluxe Edition, My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lvl999, Kimi ni Todoke: From Me To You: Soulmate, Gokurakugai, A Sign Of Affection Omnibuses, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Omnibuses and Yomotsuhegui: Scions Of The Underworld anounced so far. Doesn't seem too bad. We still need manga release anouncements for 7 more months + there also could come more release for January - May.
Weird because Fool's Night was left out. Probably my #1 anticipated release. Maybe cause its releasing in June? Idk, but that means you havent seen every new release set to come out so who knows, maybe you'll find gems out there next year you weren't expecting 🤷🏻♀️
If you haven't heard of Fool's Night here's the synopsis in case you're interested... "The earth of the distant future is covered in thick clouds, and the sun no longer shines. Plants wither, and oxygen is thin. To fight extinction, humankind has developed a technology that turns humans into plants, providing a small amount of oxygen. Is this process sustainable? Is it ethical? Toshiro Kamiya must consider these questions as he’s faced with a difficult choice-save his family or save himself. Kamiya is at the end of his rope. His mother is ill, and his job barely pays for her medication, much less food. With few options left, he considers the life-changing process of floromorphosis. Ready to give his body up for a payday, Kamiya is about to explore the limits of society’s waning humanity."
Honestly, bro, this next year is meh as far as new releases go. Initial D and The Angel Next Door are the highlights for me personally. I'm pretty sure Initial D will be in everyone’s manga hauls when it comes out since it's been out of print for so long. I watched the Angel Next Door anime this year and thought it was pretty enjoyable. It's pretty average in terms of romance series, so I don't think it'll be up your alley, but I'll probably pick it up. Also, the current Vinland Saga hardcovers are the same size as a regular Kodansha volume, whereas the deluxes will be the same size as the Berserk deluxes. The deluxe edition will also contain three volumes in one book, whereas the regular hardcover edition only has two volumes. I'm hoping the latter half of the year will pick up the slack of the first half of the year in terms of new releases.

The worst part of this is still no reprint of Mushishi.
