These comics are the ones I grew up with, so nostalgic, I still own all the originals of these series from the 90s, never read any of the carnage omnibus stories tho

Everybody loves Venom! Still have those Maximum Carnage issues I got from the 90s. Mark Bagley also one of my favorites. He does a Erik Larsen n Todd McFarlane art-mix. Look for No More Powers issues; Scorpion, Tarantula n other rogues, plus Batman / Spider-Man crossover facing Carnage and Joker drawn by Mark Bagley ties with “a piece of Venom/Carnage” Batman quoted. Awesome review, may look into Gem 💎.
Love that Spider-man vs venom omnibus. Possibly my favorite omnibus too. So many classic issues from my childhood. Great artwork, fun stories and the origins of some of the best comic villains.

Yeah, I love venom and carnage both, haven’t gotten into their comics and honestly Venom is probably my favorite Marvel anti-hero and I say anti-hero because these days, while I have seen some more villainous portrayals of the character most of the modern ones I have seen lean into the more lethal protector anti-hero version of the character
Loved the spider carnage in the 90s animated show. Although it wasn't the greatest written, but it was still so cool to see on screen. Not a lot of people remember it, but his appearance in the comics is definitely an all time favorite.

I’ve been collecting statues, was a big fan of the 90’s video games and have enjoyed the MCU / Sony films, but not especially well versed in comics. You do bring up a good point, it IS way too early for them to drop a teaser. Also the fact there dropping V2 about a month before SM3 is both good & bad. Good in the sense that we get two spider movies in a short time, bad in that there gonna be competing w/ each other.
Absolute Carnage seems to be the current epic battle between Carnage and both Spiderman and Venom. Haven't been updated yet about the symbiotes since my last subscription of Venom Lethal Protector.
Timely video. I love the spiderman/venom/carnage stuff. But I gotta agree after just finishing a re-read of Maximum Carnage, the writing is painful. The base story is dope, the art is fun, the writing of the characters and dialogue though....
Great video, hope to see similar with other characters I wish that Marvel would reprint the Carnage omni and hopefully add the Toxin mini. I know that Carnage is secondary but it is essential and for only 4 more issues is not that much, even more so when it is a sequel to the already included Venom vs Carnage.
90's was the best era for Carnage. I never really liked anything after that. Sure, Absolute Carnage was good but it was stretched out. I can relate to the part where you said Carnage freaked you out.
Are any of those stories in that trade paperback collected in omnis? The end credits with Cleatus was pretty exciting in my opinion. I like Woody Harrelson as an actor and I think he'll do well as the character. I liked how Cates found the same Aloha shirt as Woody in the movie. I think he posted it a while back when he was here in Hawaii. Thanks Gem!
I found just reading the venom timeline you have to read carnage at his best. The carnage omni was a pass for me to cheaper to buy trades second hand 💎👑
