In the order of difficulty from hardest to easiest:
Animals As Leaders, Meshuggah, Tool, Primus, Pantera, Metallica
I think all of these bands would be fun to see played by someone who's a jazz drummer
Try the song Bleed of Meshuggah
@@suzukisuzuki-md8fl While I agree that's a great song, I think it's probably a little bit too hard, technique and stamina vise, maybe something like Demiurge would be better as a first song from Meshuggah or even Faultless from the last album
@@DonjiPicudo You are right .He said that he already learned the first minute last summer. I can't wait to see him improve .I also agree with you with Metalica having the easiest drum play(I'm not a drummer). I don't understand why some people call Lars Ulrich trash though😅. An Iron Maiden song would be nice too(The Wicker Man or Iron Maiden - Wasted Years).
@@suzukisuzuki-md8fl True! Metallica would be pretty hard with their long songs for a more traditional drummer, but I think a jazz drummer would feel more at home with lars placement of the drum parts
Good work man! A small suggestion just because I don't see many others do it and I know from your other videos that you don't mind talking to the camera: Ending the video with a review of what it was like learning the song. Hardest part, overall difficulty, was it fun to play or just torture, did you learn anything new or just had to push your limits physically, etc. Of course, once you've managed to catch your breath. Maybe it's too much effort for something that many will potentially skip, but I would love it.
Dude thats such a good idea, thank u so much for the suggestion and Iwill 100% do it on the next one. This one took a while to build up to for sure and the hardest parts were for sure the 4 stroke ruffs on the bass drum (shed those so much and still muffed a bunch of them) and the fast right hand lead at the start (I literally could play the song a month ago minus that but I had to build up the endurance to make it through the opening.) Thanks so much for watching!
I would Love it too
good workkkkkk🎉
😀😀🍆
Although I don’t know too much about this type of music, but I think u killed it 😊
You are a very sweet person. Love u
F yeah! Let's go! Always love seeing people pushing out of their comfort zone! Thank you
Thanks so much for watch man!! and thanks for the support!
❤❤❤
Love it!!
As a big fan of Lamb Of God I must say that you did very well! congratulations and I hope to see more of Lamb Of God
Thank u so much man! That really means a lot! I’ll definitely do more, I love this band!
Now I would love to see it the other way around, too. I'm mostly a metalhead, and prefer playing Bass, but would love to see someone try learning/playing some Jaco Pastorius or Coletrane or something.
Ya did great, my dude.
Bro so true right and thank u so much for saying that!
Awesome job and a bonus it looks like you had fun!
I absolutely did! Thank u so much!
Absolute killed it!!!
Yoooo thanks for saying that!!
What do you think of Kriegsmaschine - Residual Blight? It's actually pretty jazzy I'd say. Phenomenal drumming by Darkside known mainly from Mgła. Kevin Paradis of Binighted did an amazing job on covering it, I would recommend to check it out if you want to get familiar with the song.
I will check it out for sure, thanks so much dude!
try opeth's deliverance
Dude I just check it out…. It’s 13min might be a little too much of an undertaking lol but I love the song. Thanks so much for the suggestion!!
@@yarpyarp85 maybe someday!
@@jirikrajnak9047dude I’m actually falling in love with this song. I’m 100% gonna learn it and post it. Probably in the next two weeks or so. Thanks so much for hipping me too them and this tune. It’s so good!!
