It's so funny because I see a lot of women in the same predicament, insecure, not believing in themselves, doubting their own skills and talent and, more than anything, seeing themselves as imposters. But I can't remember men feeling that way, at least not that often. Something similar happened to me but in my personal life, the timing was frustrating. Then I realized IT CAME TO ME WHEN I WAS READY, NOT WHEN I WANTED. The Universe is taking care of you, Auntie!! 🥰 THIS IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE!!! SHINE ON!!! 🥰
Oh my god that's so relatable because of a 20 yrs old engineering student in India and I have got into the best college one get in Bengaluru but I still have hard time believing in my abilities even if I am getting the best grades and good at lotta things that I try..... And it's still not possible and still second guessing and afraid of what's coming next 🙃
Zarna Aunty, what this does for me is- it inspires me!! Thank you!! Thank you for being you and thank you for sharing the reality of how hard things are psychologically, even in the midst of seeming success!! I’m a 32 year old single Indian woman (and glad to be that way), so you know what I’m talking about when I say, I spent the last 2 years thinking my life is over. I mean, I have this great career in finance, hobbies I love, friends who I’m grateful for and all relatives and extended family friends see is that I’m single. Some time ago, I decided to lean into who I am and stop caring about people who are not living my life. And life is awesome!! (And also this came after a lot of expensive therapy and years of work and self reflection) And you’ve inspired me in no small measure Aunty Z!! Thank you!! ❤❤❤
Appreciate what you are and be thankful.English is the first thing people assess you by .The way you express yourself.Science and Math do not define you.I love when people speak using grammar.
Its ok, indians are subconsciously ingrained to excel in maths and science, in the US things are different, so its good to adapt to the norm and succed
Indian parents and the culture pushes Math and Science. Kids talents in art, jounalism, writing are not valued. The culture focuses on STEM careers because they make money. This needs to change in families where parents nuture and value their kids talents in ANY field not just push Math and Science. Then kids who are talented in other fields will feel proud of thier abilities and believe in themselves.
Your eldest son sounds exactly the same, maybe if you hear it through him it will click. We all have different talents and strengths, it doesn’t have to compute to some world record great success. Bless you. 🤍
It inspires every mom out there that to become something, age doesn’t matter. Responsibilities doesn’t matter. What matters is talent and supporting family and most importantly never stopping to try. It also tells us that there is always at least one person breaking stereotypes and that can be anyone. So stop putting off ur dreams and get going!! #lifestartsat40

Don't underestimate the importance of timing. NOW is your time, Zarna. You found us, and we found you 🥰
I learned from this video that faith in one's own abilities & talents should be used to see one well threw life

Insecurity in Indian women is very common throughout! It’s sad… I think we are conditioned that way from a young age to stay in the background 😢
I've been there 😄 I now appreciate all my talents and goodness and much more 🥰we realise when we realise that's it 🤗😏👍🇮🇳
