Completely agreed, the coolest metal guitars are the ones that don’t look metal at all. Makes it even more bastardized when you bring out a nasty riff on a slapped together traditional looking guitar
I have a Jackson guitar, looks metal as hell, not the greatest guitar, I also have a pink fender jazz master, not metal looking, but plays metal so much better than the jackson
It doesn't relate to this guitar in particular, but I was just thinking about something... I love the fact that you were basically able to take a color, and make it a brand. Anytime I see anything guitar related in those shades of green, I instantly think of you every time. I was wondering, were they all stock factory color options, or did you have some of them custom painted or Tolexed?
@@thisguy2973 What's your scale length? If it's a 27" then a .56 is a bit light but it's not crazy. If it's a 25.5" or shorter then I have no clue how you play fast when it'll be flopping in the breeze.
@@thisguy2973Jason also doesn’t pick very hard and tunes VERY sharp in order to offset the extremely light tension. His pick attack is in tune, but the decay drops almost a full step for the low string.

String gauge is a very subjective thing I think anyway. Depending on your guitars scale-length, the tuning you're going for and the 'flubbiness' of the strings that you like, is going to vary the gauge of string you end up actually liking anyway. Not what someone else might use.
Full Circle. Really reminds me of some of the old Ibby Roadstar with a few of the design notes and the way it's finished off; did we go full meta, is this The Zeitgeist?
I saw the thumbnail and though " nice, a sterling baritone in white with a maple neck" and it's not a baritone. I didn't know 25.5 was allowed on this channel :D
the P90's sound nastier on down tuning since it's sounds bright. that's why I'm saving up for a Jazzmaster😂 if I'm impatient enough, I might have to just buy a set of P90's and have someone cut a pickguard for me so I can load them in.
jazzmaster pickups are their own thing, they’re wound different than a p90. they sound pretty similar and my jazzmaster is my holy grail of instruments so i’d say go right ahead anyway

Wow, green guitar has unique shape! And colours combination is pretty cool 😎
The p90s sound so good in this tuning!
Sterling really needs to get a Fluff signature StingRay along with offering more premium StingRays like they are with the new Sabres.
That would be sick
Idk man I wish they would bring back the armada body and the video he just did on it should be his sig
man guitars that are not meant to play metal always do it the best
Kinda true lol

Haha I love to hear that! You mean the Revv amps? It was an option they offer
@@BaenaCarcosa Yeah, the Revv and all of your green axes. That's sweet that Revv offers wild colors like that as a standard option!
Definitely a cool guitar to upgrade as a project. Or even use as is. Sterlings are solid. Imma fan of their Subs and Rays
Love sterling guitars, probably have become some of my favorite playing comfort wise.
the P90 sounds insane in that drop G# tuning!
Have a good time at gearfest! 🎉
Lol see you there! Oh wait did we miss it
The Albert Lee is proof that you don’t need baritone scale length for drop G#.
Of course you don’t. However, it does make it play and sound a lot better without needing to use bridge cables for strings.
@@GuitarGuy4647 I mean, I play 10-56 on a 7 string in drop G. Not really bridge cables. A good setup goes a long way.

bubblewrap prison sounds like a bomb ass song name, maybe if we ask spiritbox nice enough they will make the song.
nah this is definitely a Rob Scallon song name xD
Loves the riff selection especially the Whitechapel

Why is it that you have so many things in green ? Is it because of Justin from After The Burial ? I remember he also liked that type of green =)
Look and sounds great but I have the same problem with prs. The headstocks turn me off. Wish they didn’t.

My go-to drop D riff now apparently haha
Doom 3 theme song hellllll yea

I'm cool with my modified CT50 HSS in firemist silver. The plus is nice looking, but not worth the extra cost.
Not-a-metal-guy here. Legitimate question: With that much distortion, does it matter much which guitar you're playing?
What string gauges are you using on the Albert Lee?
Damn it I can't figure out what riff that was at the end was that a suicide silence song?
Almost perfect just need to get rid of the tone knob, switch and the single coils!
how is the stability of that trem??
What tuning is the Al40 in?

cool👍👍👍👍
Why don’t you talk about string gauges?
Honestly don't see you playing either of these guitars in the long term
Horrible guitars man...😢
Dear God that AL40P sounds incredible. That was NOT what I was expecting!
Right!?
Can’t wait to see the full review of the Albert Lee. I know it’s not made for the way you did the first glance here, but damn man….
It’ll be coming up later this month!
Is it me or does the green guitar look like a baby sized kaizen
One guy on UA-cam was saying the bridges on these guitars are horrible. The trem takes it out of tune every time. What do you think!
I love this goober
You can't trust anyone who pronounces it "trem-oh-low"
Cant wait for him to sell them in a couple months

the Albert Lee Surprised the f**k out of me with how evil it sounded, I like it!
That green guitar makes me wanna get it and throw in some P90s from Fishman
The shape of the second guitar reminds me something out of the 80’s
