I agree, every guitar should have locking tuners AND also string through bridge. This goes even for acoustic guitars.

was expecting kublai khan with that tuning, but you surprised me with my favorite loathe song! another great video as always
I love the transitions in this video. From the dramatic shots of the guitar to the audio tail of the solo lead tone fading out in the next part of the video. Very subtle but tasteful additions to the video.

Killer guitar. I noodled with one at Guitar Center. Sterling is my go to brand for testing out amps at the store. They all play wonderfully. Even with thin garbage strings that all guitar stores use .

What gauge for drop g# on a 25.5 ??? I need answer 😂😂
Wait I need to ask…what string gauge lets you tune down to G# on a 6 string!? I tried putting a 72 on my 7 string and it wouldn’t even fit through the tuner 😢
you can tune to G# on even a 62
I've done it on a 12-60 set. String tension was ass, kinda like drop B on 10-46, but I've done worse
a 68-70 on the top can get you some decent tension if you use a 56 for drop b/c. you can also unravel some of the wraps at the top of your string to make it fit in the tuner or just drill the tuner wider lol, your choice
@@jkbflores37 now that’s what I’m talkin about! I considered drilling out the tuner hole, but I’m using gotoh locking tuners so I felt like it’d be sacrilegious to do that…unwinding some of the top winds however is a brilliant idea that I might have to try on this 72
