- What is the best affordable white t-shirt? I went on the hunt and picked up 12 different t-shirts from different brands like H&M, Uniqlo, COS, Urban Outfitters, and Tommy Bahama, and compare the different tees and give my review based on price, fit, fabric/feel/quality, color, and style.

Uniqlo has an Alexander Wang Collab white/black tshirt for 15 Euro, and it's really fire!
For UNIQLO fans out there, I noticed their tees shrink very easily, make sure you don't dry them too much if you're using a tumble dryer. Dry it just enough and hang dry it for a bit before you put it in your closet. I hope this helps :)
If I remember right, the tag says to line dry anyway so that's probably why it shrinks

It depends on where you live I guess to have access to space for line dry or use the tumble dryer.

This video sums up the reason why I’m a huge fan of Uniqlo,excellent quality,versatile and so god damn affordable. the only downside for me is they run a little small so I had to get XL in every clothes and can’t really go for a oversized look since there aren’t bigger size lol

you mean with a hydrophobic fabric, it can be done but you will necessarily loose breathability, because the knitting needs to be super tight, and the material plastic like.
There are many on Kickstarter. They are also breathable, flexible. I see them many time. Kickstarter is a project that raise the fund so you won’t get the product soon until the project funded and manufacturing which could take few months

What I would've liked to see is how much the shape changes after a wash and dry.
Next level 6410 - this is the perfect white tee for me. It’s fitted across the arms, chest and shoulder with a fitted crew neck. I love these tees. And the price can’t be beaten. If you lift, it sure does compliment your torso.
In my opinion the first one, 7th and Allsaints are the best!!! Great fit, size, material and wrinkle.

I did like the COS shirt at $45. I also highly recommend the Everlane white tees, the quality is astoundingly good.

I used to love the old Uniqlo supima shirts, but it seams to me like they changed the fabric on the new ones. The fabric on my 4-5 year old ones look like new, only the threads got a little bit loose. However the fabric on the new ones feel softer, while the old ones where a little bit stiffer but smoother. My new ones shrunk and got those little knots all over the fabric after the first wash. Also the seams on the sides are not aligned when you lay them flat to iron them, which I think comes from the shrinking. I have 2 old ones wich I really wore and washed a lot over the years since I loved them so much and they still look like new. Unfortenualy I bought 4 new ones when they were on sale.
I guess that Uniqlo changed to shorter fibre cotton on their supima shirts or at least started to use a mix of supima and normal cotton in their supima shirts because that's why you get those little knots on the fabric after wearing and washing.
Now I have to find a new brand. I tried a supima shirt from Benetton that uses long fibre / supima cotton and Theiß feel like the old Uniqlo supima shirts. Will buy one for this summer. If they hold up I will buy more since I love the smooth and little bit stiff fabric that supima cotton can provide in shirts.
edit: that's my impression from the shirts here in Germany, might be different somewhere else.

If a guy workouts , with broad shoulders and vascular arms. He will look good in all the t shirt in the video. The body compliments the shirt.

A lot of you all are saying uniqlo supima t, but that’s cause supima feels great. It’s $10 cause they cut corners on lining and washing. Try the banana republic supima t- it’s $25, but you can find it for around $16-17 if you time it. Higher margins so they can use nicer techniques lining and washing the fabric

The COS bonded tee is one the best tees I've ever bought. I own 8 of them. £25 in the UK. Great for all occasions if you buy your size
Banana republic white t shirts are the best. I’m surprised you haven’t tried that.
They are, but they are about 50% more than Uniqlo. Banana at the regular half off is about double the annual Uniqlo deal.

Also you should look into bella + canvas 3001u , perhaps my favorite fit at the moment for blank shirts at the low-end pricepoint, gonna try the uniqlo packaged though .
I've always been really picky when it comes to plain white/black tees. I've been ordering mine online for about 15 years. I very rarely find any in a store that I like. The most important thing to me is the fit around the neck. It has to be a tighter fit and not loose around the neck with enough room for me to put my head down and feel my chin on my skin if that makes sense. Most Tee's are more of a loose fit around the neck and that's uncomfortable for me. I used to order Pro-5 shirts from California for years but eventually didn't enjoy how heavy they were. They were perfect around the neck though and in the early 2000's we wore the oversized Tee's, haha.
Now what I like the most is a shirt that fits tighter (not loose) around the neck and is lightweight and not heavy. I've been using Fresh Clean Tees for a while now and I like them. They seem to last a while and the fit is great. A 5 pack is $70 which isn't too bad I guess. I'd like to find another brand that I like too though.

Thought I was wrong in buying the packages Uniqlo t shirts since the reviews on the supima cotton are so amazing but I love the fit of the cheaper one too. They also feel very nice and soft. Probably because of the polyester.
uniqlo's dry packaged tee is really better than their supima cotton range because of its cotton/polyester blend material, which makes it comfortable too, more durable and better for moisture-wicking

LLBean makes a great tee-shirt with all the options anyone would want , and a bunch of colors . I used to like Hanes but they changed the material , as far as undershirts go I prefer Fruit of the Loom , but they're still not perfect though close . I hate a stretched out neck , and thin material . LLBean has the cool technology available and I've bought a few , they're good , but generally I like the classic .
