Xactimate has changed the Macro Wizard a bit in the new X1 version. I've found the lists and am trying to navigate through all the category selections on my own. If you could post a new macro tutorial for the X1 program that would be awesome! Thank you for all the amazing videos you post. You're a Godsend and blessing to the world!
Thanks for the awesome kudos - appreciate you! Let me clarify your question, if I may. Are you looking for these SKT Sketch Macros in X1? They are missing in most users X1 and have to be downloaded through tech support. There is a hack to get them in, but it's just as time consuming as going to tech support. Or, are you having a different issue with the macros? Sometimes it's hard for me to pinpoint the exact problem through text alone, like we have to do here. If you want to send me a screen shot...feel free to email me at alena@xm8mastery.com
How did you pull up that items list in sketch? It was so fast I kept rewinding it but couldn't figure it out. I like seeing those line items at the bottom of sketch without having to go to the estimate items tab. Also you really help me put the pieces together, great job. Thank you.
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the videos Marcus! While you have the Sketch screen up, hold down Ctrl Shift R and that will bring up all of the windows in Sketch so that you may add items and search for them. Let me know if you have further questions on this!
Hmmmnn....I would get onto the online tech support and ask them to import them for you or help you acquire them - they're quite useful for large loss jobs! If you don't want to have to go to tech support, try creating one of your own using the defaults that are set up when you add the new macro. They should be quite similar in settings to the electrical, plumbing, hvac & insulation that are on my screen.
XM8 Mastery Figured it out. In X1, you go to create a Macro, Hit Add, the you can choose to pull the standard macros into your own or make the line items in to macro you can name.
If you're speaking about the IRC code, it does not pull local code.....my job would be A LOT easier if it did! Let me know if that's what you're referencing here.

Yes, it is! It is generally called a pony wall!

Does this pull from a local code from the pricing zip code?? Is that printed anywhere?

For some reason, I see no macros in my X1 version of xactimate. Odd
Oh no! You can contact Xactware tech support and they'll send 'em to ya. Hopefully.
XM8 Mastery ok, I’ll try that. Thanks for always responding!
Sure thing man! I love that you ask questions :)
