My crankshaft position sensor on my Saturn fortunately doesn't need adjusting or tuning it's just pull it out put it back in.. really informative video thank you I never would have thought some engines were like that
My failed crank sensor on E46 325i was causing the car to stall first turn over of the day every time from loss of fuel pressure and then it would be fine but still ran rough and eventually motor started cutting out while driving and even interfering with charging system causing alternator under-excitation codes that resulted in a dead battery.
I’m having this problem with a 350z it goes idle past 3000 rpm and stutters also known as bogging how did you fix your problem? Did you replace the alternator. I seen here on ur it could be that please lmk been searching forever on forums etc..

Ford focus 16 2004 I changed my water pump and tminng belt tensioner never opened crankshaft bolts or belt evry was lining up piston tdc I hade secure bolt on the side rotated 2 revolutionar I. Oly mistake was neve checked crankshaft sensor positioning .. At end ca won't started. Any help mate. Thanks
Hey guys I have a 2012 ford explorer 2.0 liter 4 cylinder EcoBoost change the harmonic balancer and didn’t align it before pulling it off so after replacing the new one the timing of the pulley is out engine up n dwn …could I try the same like what the video suggested?
mine is having that issue i replaced the crank shaft sensor on 2018 toyota tocoma and the dealership is saying it does not need a relearn feature but it is showing issues of other cars that are not relearned
Thanks for the video sir .I have big problem here with my ford fiesta tdci 1.6L 2009 model i swapped the engine with 2010 model it came with its own cam sensor and also crank sensor but the fly wheel was not the same so i put the one from my old engine and also the throtol .So after all done the car cant start at all its only cranking and it shows that there is fuel going and stark in the pressure pump not coming out to the injectors.
I have a 2007 Chevy equinox and they made this vehicle from 05 to 09 I think. I’ve change the crank sensor and had problems cause wouldn’t start ruff idle and cut off. The point I’m getting at when you change the crank sensor replace it with the exact part manufacturer that came out from the vehicle not all manufacturer wire there crank sensor the same.

I replaced the crank sensor on my 2012 kia soul and it still runs rough and the tach drops out, etc. There isn't more than one postion for this sensor as I'm sure you know. What did I do wrong or what do I need to do to get it to work correctly? Thanks!
@@luisanibal1766 Sometimes you have to take it back to the main dealer to get them to clear the Codes. Your Mechanic probably doesn’t pay for the special privileges that the main dealer have .😀

If the sensor goes bad it won’t ruin valves, that’s what the timing chain is for, the sensor controls spark timing and injection

same here. Still showing codes for crankshaft position sensor after replacing. My mechanic does not have an explanation for that.
