@@WolfeSaberYou have a point, and a notable one one at that, this would probably be needed to be implemented in some other design that better suits it, as titanium is rather heavy, and even with the added vernier thrusters, large chunk of these these planes are more in line with air superiority and high maneuverability. (the notable exceptions being the Snukas and Doshira bombers that were used to strike at Yamato, which will likely benefit from their use without sacrificing much maneuverability, but, the question lies of wether Gamilas has an equivalent of that or not either already in use or in possession at minimum.) And, unless a new light compound was to be used that has the same level of strength, titanium just seems like added weight for something meant to dash around and turn quickly, which is probably why even today, let alone the future in this anime, not every single jet has one being casually mounted onboard.

An ejection system like that of the F-111 could have save a lot of pilots, along with a titanium bathtube for protection.

@@hikakin_mania440 確か、ガミラス側のバリアはデスラー座乗艦などの重要な艦のみ搭載されてたはずなので、それ以外は結構装甲厚かったはずです。実際に従来の地球の兵器はガミラスの駆逐艦クラスにさえダメージを与えられませんでした。
「ガミラスさんは」というだけではないでしょう。
ガミラスに限らずヤマトなど、基本的に宇宙船は一定以上の質量弾が脅威になる。
ゲシュダムシールド(波動防壁)が無くても宇宙空間のデブリは共通の問題だから、高速で衝突するそれらに対する防御策は持っている筈なのよ。要は程度の問題。
