I cannot express how grateful I am for this video... i do not know how to use a pressure cooker I was never taught as a child or young woman on how to use it. I was actually taught to fear it. I remained my mom say it will blow up and hurt me if I don’t know how to use it. Thank you Miss Debbie!! You have taught me so much.

I remember as a girl in the country this lady name miss Madge buy a pressure cooker an use to pressure meat she didn't let it cool down enough took the cover off mercy the meat was all the way up in the house top stuck up deer I never run thrue a door so fast inline. my life. I was so frightened.it almost blind her. I will never forget that experience.
I bought a pressure cooker about two years ago and have not cooked with it yet because of ignorance. Now that i'm more knowledgeable because of you I can feel more confident to use it! Thanks for the massive help!!!

Great video - I’m glad you did this video because to be honest with you I watch a lot of competition cooking shows such as Top Chef and Masterchef and different tv shows like that and I am always shocked every time I see big name well name chefs who went to culinary school that don’t know how to use a pressure cooker or is scared to use it so I’m absolutely sure a lot of people needed to see this video.
So glad I found this channel have literally probably watch23 other videos about pressure cookers and learned absolutely nothing until this brilliant beautiful Chef actually gave me to instructions. Thank you so much ma'am❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks Miss Debbie for the tutorial. I vowed never to own a pressure cooker. I witnessed my cousin’s face being burned because of the steam and to this day I have never touched a pressure cooker. The tutorial was very insightful but I don’t think I’m ready to experiment.

I just bought one as well... I have tried to use those All in one Insta pots to pressure cook things and it's just NOT the same...This video clarified everything for me:D
You can do if you want, but the whole purpose of the pressure cooker is that is reduces the cooking time. Give it a try both ways and see how you prefer. Hope that helped🙂🙏🏿

Hi mine doesn't have that safety button the clicks when it's safe to open so how will i know its hot enough?
