I think if Hikaru wins, they'll do a non-FIDE 1v1 match for the chess belt.
You scared me the way you started commenting the game. I thought that Alireza managed to win.
Alireza got adopted by hikaru
Brilliant
Nice
Tiebreaks probably favor Hikaru of these three (possibly four)
I knew the move because I watched it on stream hhhh
Agad started showing too many games (lines..)in between this game 😂😂
Nicely done by hikaruu
Carlsen - Nakamura: 14 - 1 - 26!
+13! ...Wow ...!
Nepo-Hikaru will be fire
Interesting considering Hikaru has scoffed at the exchange variation in the french lol
Hikaru owns Alireza 🗿💀
Hikaru not playing for the Candidates just playing for the Meme

Isn't Rc5 met with Nxc5 by black? The knight protects the black queen. Black would be up material, no?
I thought the same but its not the end of line, nxc5 Qxd7 nxd7 nxc7 and white wins exchange back and probably is going to win e2 pawn
Results may not always go in his favour, but Alireza plays very interesting chess!
If it goes to tiebreaks , hikaru destroya them all
Watched this live. Hikaru is inevitable
Love to see Hikaru or Gukesh win this thing
Wesley So could had have been far better than Alireza for sure. Him and Nijat are the reason why there are 3 tied at first place.
And people say the french exchange is drawish
