- In this video we will take a look at the Clean rig I created in my last Blues Jam per the request of @Realroyrogers
I will Go through the rig in the Headrush Prime and copy it to the Gigboard then we will do an A/B Comparison of both units with this rig.

Sometimes I thought I could tell a difference... and then I wasn't sure....
I felt the same way, sometime I thought I could hear it but then I was not sure either, it is also harder to notice in the mix.

Thanks brother! I have been looking at the tonex myself, just can't justify picking one up with the Headrush. I think the Tonex is a great option, not to mention is comes with the full version of the amplitude vst, it actually is a great option. Have a good weekend my friend!👍

I think the Headrush is also an great option for folks. Outside of just amps, it's robust and does more than the Tonex.

Very close, not hearing much or any difference. Not worth the 1000 bucks more if i just base it on these demo tones.

Nice comparison video, Francis. I didn't here a whole lot of difference (I have old ears, mind you, lol) in clean and overdrive tones. Nor in the mix. Certainly not enough to justify the difference in price between the 2 models.

I did a similiar comparision for myself as well: the Gigboard is noticeably darker and less defined in tone.
I have been playing them both again and I have to agree with you. Thanks for your opinion. 👍

Maybe B is a bit more compressed?
Maybe a little, not sure but it may be from the different delay that is not available in the older unit. maybe they process the sound a little different, not sure but I agree.Thanks for your opinion.👍
Which one was which?? I watched the video a couple of times and don’t remember you mention what device A & B referred to. I’m all for a blind test… but usually at the end it’s revealed which unit was on A and which was on B.
In the chapter called reveal @11:13 it shows that the Gigboard was A and the Prime was B.
