Soldano SLO 100 Would be an interesting clone.
I read on a forum that when loading up a cloned amp, and pedal/s (Not included presets, self cloned stuff) that the latency can be so bad, that it's not usable?
I would love to hear your thoughts on the latency issues.

So I like to use it for a lofi distortion, to make as much noise as possible to trash can a set or whatever, or with a ton of reverb for an ambient lead. To each their own tho, I don’t like like it for standard rhythm guitar playing.

I thought the clone of the fuzz didn’t really sound much like the original pedal at all. It was very obvious when they were being a/b’d, which one was the real fuzz and which one was the clone, as it really didn’t have that nice bitey, crushed characteristic of the real fuzz pedal.

I'm wondering about assigning effects and and functionality. Something the Roland GR-55 offered was the ability to assign up to 8 different options per Patch you could pick what you wanted to Target such as a amp gain for instance you could select the target minimum and Target max value then you could choose the source let's say expression pedal then to go further in-depth you could pick the act range low and act Range High values so what you could do is when I had the pedal completely depressed at 0% the app would be clean Channel then I could set the value act range to 1% so when I barely push the pedal down it would trun on the Amp then I could set the gain value of the amp to 1% and as I press the expression pedal down I can have it raise the gain and I could set the max act range to 99% so that the pedal gain would raise the further down the expression pedal is pressed then I would have it set to when I completely have the pedal push down at 100% it would engage a solo boost switch also then I could set it to if I pushed in the expression pedal toe switch it would engage a wah and the expression pedal would act as a wah. Lots of in-depth customisation in regards to this function. Alternatively also I can set one of my control pedals as momentary or toggle switch and I could set it so that when I press it it turns on delay, chorus and Reverb all at once with the respective values for each effect that I had chosen to my liking. Sorry for the long question this is the only way I know how to explain what I'm looking for hope this pedal has those options or something along those lines thank you for the great demo.

    • @thomasbruce1896
      @thomasbruce1896 Рік тому +1

You can use the expression pedal to change a number of parameters at the same time. Eg can have heel down amp clean with loads of reverb, and have it so that when you gradually push toe down, more gain comes in and the reverb drops. Tracii guns did some great presets on the original HR Pedalboard along those lines.
Can also use 'scenes' to switch on amd off any combination of effects that you want. In each 'rig', i generally have a scene for clean, a scene for rhythm and a scene for lead, and i might add one for eg 'ambient' or 'everything on'.
      Plenty of options 👍

I watched a lot of these Headrush Prime videos and all are showing the same routing order. I'm just kind of curious about the direction of the chain. Is there any way that the setup can be changed the other way around? Possibly a dive in the settings and just simply changing it there? I mean from below going up instead of the "in" from the top left going down to the "out". I'm just used to the fact that the placement order of my physical pedals that I'm seeing right now is placed from my right going to left which is also indicated universally on all of the individual pedals on earth.

Honestly Headrush are disgusting, just because of the way they've handled the release of something what's actually just a remake of an old product.
    1st - they'v disabled Headrush Cloud a while ago.
    2. Used Headrush forum feature (instead of the Headrush Cloud) as a feature requests forum - just to collect the data to release the new product, instead of improving existing products.
    3. Sound - it's ok, but Headrush just sounds like Headrush, no matter how hard you try.
    4. You can get quality sounds, but it's no different compared to any other modellers in the same range. May work fine for softer sounds but hi-gain - a bit of a disappointment
    5. Added features which a. already exist on other modellers (Kemper) b. useless if you are getting it just for the guitar
    6. In that price range - nah, thanks but no thanks, can get much better options out there for the same price or even lower
    7. Touchscreen - after sometime you realise that the touchscreen is more of a gimmick
    8. Send out the device to a bunch of UA-camrs and allow to publish the video on a specific date, aka launch... sorry, that's lame and just lazy
