The Really Right Stuff Anvil 30 tripod ball head is the perfect platform for glassing and shooting. I use this tripod head on my TFCT-14 Ascend tripod for my mountain hunts. Each of my 10x42 binoculars, my 27-65x85 spotting scope, or my rifle will most securely and quickly to the Anvil 30, giving me the absolute best platform to use the tools.

Quality doesn't come cheap! If you held one of these in your hands, you'd see the difference in the quality. So many other tripods are just toys.
The Anvil 30 doesn’t have a pan feature right? When I’m glassing I like to lock the ball and just use the pan on a typical ballheads.
You're right. The technique with the Anvil is to only slightly tighten it, and you can achieve a pan.
I like using a sling when my rifle is not in the pack holder. I don’t see you using a sling. Is there a way to have a sling and the mount for the tripod? I’m going to BC for a goat in September and with Canol next August for a sheep. Your tip videos are truly appreciated. Thank you.
Hey buddy, no, there is no sling attachment for this system. I am now using the NATO adapter with my RRS/Picatinny setup, and there is also no sling attachment for that. I'll suggest it to RRS!
You need to look into the slik sling by Montana creations. Such a game changer
