Large Double Eyelet Rib Knitting Pattern

The Double Eyelet Rib is a lovely knitting pattern consisting of very simple 4 row repetitions.
It has two yarn overs and because of its knit and purl alternations it’s a bit elastic, like most ribbing knit patterns.

#4 (Worsted) Yarn like Lion Brand’s Wool Ease Yarn: amzn.to/3w7jklz of two different colors
#9 US Knitting Needles (5.5 mm): amzn.to/3NYui3p
But any yarn with corresponding needles can work.

Thank you Joanne. I was looking for a nice stitch pattern that would relax me and make my wool yarn "cushier". This is just the ticket! The pattern plumps up so nice. This one I'll block slightly so the cush is maintained but the delicate pattern is visible. New subscriber!

Please be aware that it's a rib. The 2 purl stitches get lost in the back. That's why this stitch is so good for hats, gloves...anything stretchy.

Hey Joanne. Can you change the background if it is based by computer, or change the sharpness or contrast as it is very distracting? There is outline all over which shows the very sharp of contrast or fake background. Otherwise the colours are great, and the pattern of this is beautiful!! I am thinking of using this for scarf or even shopping bag with cotton yarns...

hi Whoknitter! I tried to edit it so it would be as clear as possible. Yes, green as a background will not be used again, but unfortunately, there's nothing we can do for the background now that the video is up. But hope you can still enjoy it :)

@@JoannesWeb Green is fine but problem is with the amount of sharpness, and contrast is what needed to be focus on.
