And Rachel had every right to be heated. Her mother and the rest of her family were being truly unfair to Bryan. There supposed to be there to help Rachel and Bryan, not interrogate him and put him on the spot and treat him like he’s the villain of the situation

A man or a woman shouldn't have to pick a certain side between their parent and their spouse. If their spouse is in the wrong then they should have the right to be on the parent's side but if the parent is wrong then they should have the right to be in the spouse's side. I personally think it's really insensitive of Rachel's mom to expect Bryan to always take her side when she and his mother are at odds. Does she expect Rachel to be on his side if Bryan is at odds with Rachel's mom?

They made it look like Bryan walked out of the dining room because he was frustrated when Bryan himself revealed in instagram that he walked out to talk to her dad. They wernt alowed to tape her dad's conversation with the men because he is the federal judge, the editing is on another level this time😓😓😓
Well that's so funny because on Peter's visit Rachel said her dad will not be meeting any of the men, so how come Brian said he left to go talk to her dad, in the middle of a conversation after her mother asked him a question, very suspect i m o.
Her dad had a specific time to call and given they did not want to alert the audience during filming Bryan just left when he left. The more important thing to notice is the questions for Eric and Peter are very surface. The family had already been prepped that Bryan was the guy. Therefore, they started driving him. Not because they didn't like him, so they could see what Rachel's reaction would be. Her brother in law gave us all the answer. He said "Rachel you have never shown emotion for anyone" but she did it for Bryan. This is a rite of passage. Rachel's family accepted him. He actual did the best thing by walking away and letting her handle it. Her dad most likely only spoke with Bryan.
Yes, her father came that day for Bryan, knowing he is the one.

The family was harder on Bryan because they know that he is who she truly loves. No need to be hard on Peter and Eric when they know she isn't feeling it. This was actually the first time I started to like Bryan. Peter professing his love to her like word vomit minutes before they stepped into the house was just weird. I believe her likes/loves her but that came off as super disingenuous (which is ironic since Peter is the resident expert on being "real").
I wish they gave Bryan a better edit because although I'm not his biggest fan (honestly, I think Rachel could do way better than all the final 3 guys) I believe the edits of the show and what deleted scenes they decided to show and not show really influenced the viewers. This is the second season in a row after Nick's that the editing is so bad and misleading. They need to fire some people.

I disagree actually. I think that after having a person like Peter come with a more practical approach of wanting to have the long term with Rachel but knowing that time is a factor made Bryan look so fake because the only word he could say was love when talking about the relationship. Rachel was nervous because her family was literally about to pop their bubble right in front of her. I do agree that Rachel's emotion says alot of her feelings for her but at the end of the day they really made their relationship more on the physical and it showed when Bryan could not reassure her family. Also Peter is definitely getting the Vanessa Edit. The fact that there is this make it or break it problem where both parties are at end. If Bryan won then he should be pissed. And honestly fans should be pissed. No one wants to see ABC focusing some much on one relationship only for her to pick the other guy that has been called disingenuous the whole time.

This is a perfect example of people having different taste and thank goodness for that (why would you want to live in a world where everyone was attracted to the same kind of looks?). See, to me, Bryan is not attractive at all. I actually find his 'look', when put all together, kind of sleazy. I appreciate he has good hair and a good body, good teeth but I look at those things separately. I don't find anything else about him good looking at all. Each to their own. As long as Rachel adores his look, I guess that's all that matters.

The producers of this show like to manipulate the audience by pointing them in the wrong direction. They edit and splice video to give us the impression they want us to have.

correct me if i am wrong guys but i'm starting to think that the pachel ship is slowly sinking and i will attribute it to age.Rachael is 32 and has no time left "to figure things out".Peter on the other hand aside from having a reserved personality still has so much time to make a choice on a partner.Brian is 37 he must be really ready and willing to commit too.What Peter failed to understand is"there comes a time when a lady is past hearing let's see where it goes".Then also i think Rachel felt as though she was leading peter and her's relationship while women like to be led and not the other way round.

It's funny you say that because they have Peter's horoscope wrong. The producers said his birthday was on their first date during production, March 19th, so that would make him an emotional Pisces also. Rachel is a Taurus and they bond well with Pisces because it is an earth sign that helps ground them. Since Bryan is an Aquarius, they will have a rocky road ahead. I am an earth sign also who was married to an Aquarian man and have dated several (for some reason I attract them). They are highly intelligent and friendly, but awful at compromising, showing empathy and putting you first. He was devoted to her on the show, it'll be another thing in real life. Why does everyone assumes that a woman always has a need to confront her mother in law? Or how could it help anyone to put their spouse on the position to go against his mother just to defend you? That is a recipe for fight and disaster.
Smart women don't put their spouse against their mother, they simply learn to solve the issue with their in laws without creating a mother-son dilema. Strong women find a way to fix the issue within the family instead of causing more problems.
Women who find a way to be loved by their in laws Will have a happier marriage and in latin families, ussually the strongest alied is your mother in law. Besides, a well raised man will be forever greatful that you loved him enough to avoid putting him in the middle of that horrible dilema. True love conquers all which really means your family will be there for you when no one else will and love you for life when boyfriends and lovers come and go and are only there for a moment. Thank you mother Lindsay!! Bryan needed to be asked this question. And like her mother said during Bryan's visit, she needs a third person perspective. She's into her feelings too much to be objective. Her fam did a good job of trying to see what he's really about. And her sister is no joke...I would be skeptical of Bryan too if I were her.

Pick your battles wisely, Rachel. Love doesn't have to be hard. It's already clear that (1) Bryan will give you exactly what you want at the end of the show (emphasis on end of the show), (2) you are fine with Bryan's mom being his "#1 woman in his life" and (3) you're fine with the relationship seeming too good to be true. Red flags are there for a reason.
Only the outsider see red flags, when they don't want you to choose the one that makes you happy. Red flags didn't stop me, to be with the man I love, and had a great marriage.

Okay, this is a Bryan-friendly thread and I am a huge Bryan fan (because I think he gives Rachel what she needs), so I hope I can get some good feedback on this: The only thing that has given me concern about Bryan is that he talks about "convincing them of how genuine" he is, or how genuine their love is. My personal experience is that people who are really genuine don't go around planning to convince people that they possess this quality. Am I making too much of this, or does this bother anyone else?
When love is new, and people who don't want to believe it, you feel compelled to try to convince. However, with due time, you ending up saying F you, we don't care what you think.
Given everyone including Rachel has challenged his sincerity, I can understand why he feels compelled to defend his feelings for her. Yes, they have been together just 9 weeks however I know and have experienced love in far less time. Time has nothing to do with love, neither does logic. There are just some people who just do it for you. It's love not lust but the non-believers are constantly challenging your judgment and truthfulness of what you feel.

I think he feels the need to defend himself (as anyone else would) is because he understands the persuasion and influence people can have on other people. No one wants someone they love or care about (especially someone closer to that person) to be in their ear about how fake or disingenuous they are. A person can be genuine while still trying to prove themselves. It may mean they care about image but as long as it’s true, I think that’s all that matters.

Bryan brought this all on himself. He was trying to impress or should I use his words, "win them over." He was asked the same damn question as Peter, "tell me about your family", He said I love my mother very much, and she is the #1 woman in my love. That led to more questioning hence who will come first your mother or your wife. Ok so he decided that his wife would come first. So shut up and leave it at that, no he goes on but if they would have a conflict I would want them to work it out. That led her mother to ask another question, "so what if they can't work it out, who would be your priority?" He can't answer, he is searching for an answer, he gives a deep sigh. Rachel jumps to his aid and already said well he said his wife would be his priority. He looked absolutely stupid at that point. that question shredded him like pulled pork. He got a breather when Rachel's mother asked if he would like to have lunch.
After lunch the uncle asked him what qualities do you see in Rachel to make you want to marry her or to know that she is the one, something to that effect. He is stumped again. He asked to be excused from the table, what was he peeing his pants? Ha ha is this the highly education 'chiropractic physician' as he calls himself? By the way a chiropractor is not a physician. His excuse for excusing himself from the table without answering that question was that he went to talk to her dad. Why would he suddenly leave in the middle of a conversation to go talk to her dad, would her dad call him away in the middle of a conversation, I doubt that very much.
Another thing of note, he went to the table and sat down, did not pull out Rachel's chair and seat her first, did you notice that? LOL he must have been shitting in his pants.
