    Wow Elise’s in English roads get quite corroded underneath. Surprised he’s putting it back together that dirty. Feel lucky to have an Australian delivered Elise that’s super clean ;)

    Putting the old toe rods back in with original ball joints ! No thanks Fuzz, plenty of UA-cam videos of those failing.

    All that copper grease is going to mean the bolts don't torque up properly! Surely that's not good practice?

      The copper grease WILL make the bolts torque up properly, it means the torque you apply to the nut is stretching the bolt instead of the friction in the threads. You lubricate main and big end bolt threads in an engine before you torque them up for the same reason.

      Completely agree, tricky not to over torque, should be done dry.

      in the last series, I won't tell you what episode in case you've not seen it but the person dies halfway through the rebuild,,,,,
