I remember this show was on when California had a great vibe. Trend setting, cutting edge. Amazing, how sentimental shows, trigger contempt for what that state, and this country is becoming.
Main thing wrong with this country is the right wing fascists blocking all progress. They lack empathy and critical thinking. If they’d realize by lifting up the lesser of us, the economy would grow. If they’d follow the word of Jesus as they claim, we could all live in harmony.

Brennan was a WWI veteran and had been wounded and gassed. Part of the effect was he lost his teeth at that relatively young age. The general result was that he did indeed thereafter look significantly older than he actually was.
This was one of the most blatantly sexist programs to ever air. I am a man and totally appalled at this garbage. This program would not last five minutes today.
