Broken Xbox 360 S Beeps, But Doesn't Turn On

- My beloved Xbox 360S up and died yesterday. I'm still heartbroken. It makes the system noises for the disc tray and power button, but doesn't actually power on. It just sits there, half-dead. Mocking me. Its served me well for 4+ years, though, so I ain't even mad. Just sad.

If you Xbox 360 Slim does the beep but doesn't turn on, look at the power brick. If the glowing circle is colored red, then that means it is overheated/broken.
Get a new power brick.

my xbox 360 s lasted about 4 years too, i was playing a game and it just turned off, i turned it back on, it let me press play game and then just turned off again. now every time i press the power button, it shows the green light on the power brick and the power button but it turns off right after i turn it on. when i press the eject button, it opens, turns off, and the tray just sits halfway open.
I had the same problem too It wont turn on whats the problem is it the power brick we bought the xbox like june 2018 And now not turning on cuz i slept at midnight
ours lasted a long time, well it still works its just we dont use it anymore since we got a xbox one but i believe its about 10-8 years old and it still works fine

Mine is doing the same thing but the green light turns on but doesnt power the xbox just shuts off like yours ive probably played over 10,000 hrs of xbox so now if i cant fix im just gonna put it on a shelf and say it tried............if youll excuse me ill be at gamestop getting a ps4

mine lasted 5 years, i was about to play earlier,the green power in the middle is on but it wont boot. i cant bring it for repair since i dnt have money cant buy a new one either...saddest day of my life starts now

I had the same problem, and even switched the console, but it turned out to be a problem on the power source. It stopped sending enough energy to the xbox.
Mine has this exact same problem. Every once in a while the light will flash like it's turning on. Then it just dies, if you somehow find a solution please could you tell me as well? Thank you! (I have already looked at all my USB things, the prongs are fine. The power box itself is fine as well.)

I know this is old but power ribbon inside the console most likely. When bugs get in there they're poo is acidic and eat it away
I smashed my Xbox 360 s cause it had that same problem mine lasted about 2 years but was never treated harshly, I was the original owner of it so I can verify this and is their even a fix for this
I have the issuse it is just my console is a little dusty, and the power brick is obnoxiously loud.

same here. I checked for bent usb pins, tried a different power brick, took it apart and cleaned it... nothing. still beeps but wont turn on.

First the power button was red and the fan was super loud and my tv would say no signal so I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in and then this happened now I’m sad. rip Xbox 360

I had a hand-me-down Xbox 360 Elite that was made in around 2007-2009, it served me well for 2 or 3 years until it started red ringing, you served my cousin and me well.

mine has been doing that for the past couple weeks. i blew out the power supply cause there was hella dust in there and unplugged my hard drive transfer cable and now its back up and running YAY!!!

my Xbox 360 is still working I got it the same day as you and had the same problem as you but I fixed it and it says the mic is on and people say that they can here it and it like a beep non stop and I didn't have a mic WTF. I just got a mic today and I won't work because of it and can't talk. :-(

I was watching another video about this problem, it turns out the C 57 was over heating. Not sure if that's the case here, but I'm going to try it and see if it works

The solution is you need to remove the front panel and disconect the touch control battons then turn the xbox with the controler this is the most likly solution

I never thought things will happen like that. I hope it doesn't affect mine. 😑 That's why I don't play it that much, because I'm not taking my chances.

I've messed with my Xbox 360s and this same thing happened to them if u open and look at the mother board and shake it it'll be a bad capacitor rattling around

u have to take the xbox360 apart and where the power button is turn it around and press the circut in and it should work
