This speech makes me feel so meaningless. When I got done listening to it the first time, I really realized how insignificant I am in this universe. Leave it to David Lowery to to make a truly phenomenal monolouge
Even if everything is meaningless, you get to participate in the now and create the meaning you want in the time you have left. The chances of you being alive at this moment as you are now is astronomically. Your very existence is astonishing and once you are done, parts of you will continue as constituent parts of some thing else being it the earth itself or what ever star or black hole we get swallowed by. For a brief moment, parts of the universe came together to form the consciousness that experienced life as it is now. I find that pretty cool in and of itself.
Instead of an ark we will have space vehicles that will transport us to different galaxies and different dimensions, and we will take Beetovens symphony and we will gather our precious belongs and they will endure. Oh yeah of little faith.
Kinda late but there's a site called melody.ml that will separate vocals from the music using AI. Just download the video and use that site to get the monologue.
I love how the character/director thinks this is some grand speech about how everything is meaningless and how depressing that is. But that's what makes life so great is that it is meaningless, there's no grand design that you have to live up to, and everyone gets a life to live. TLDR: life is cool, this speech is dumb and the character/director making said speech is a chud. PS: love the background video and music added
You didn’t understand the movie. This is the antithesis of the movie. It’s like a counterargument, and the movie is supposed to be refuting that statement

This speech is meant to be the opposite of the movie wants to say

but, we have no choice--we live---this monologue has value
Great speech, but i'm sorry, the added music and visuals are both extremely distracting and very unhelpful adding nothing to the speech itself.
Its to bypass the copyright policies

THE SONG THE MINUTE 6:06 IS NOT COMMERCIAL, THAT HURTS YOU SOUND GOOD.

I really wanted to find the name of the song that plays at the end of this scene =(
could you send me an mp3 of the speech without the music?

There is actually a theory that the heat death of the universe is actually incorrect.
