Really good to watch! Have to admit you camp in style! I tend to roughy it with a tinned curry and rice and a bottle of Rioja! Excellent, keep it coming!
Them pork chops look fab😊. I think I might have bought the wrong tent , I bought one of those ones that just pop up but I have to say I like yours because of the extension and to keep your bike under cover , you have some very good ideas thanks😊. There’s plenty of room for Betsey , I like that a lot.
Thank you for showing us that beautiful landscape, my Classic 350 would feel very much at home there ! Turns out the Peak District is only a 3 hour ride from the ferry in Hull, it would make a great summer holiday away from flat Holland. I would book one of their 'glamping pods' as I hate sleeping in a tent 😊.
It’s good that you had good weather, because it’s a top coat colder at Flagg. I watched this during a trip to Northumberland. You would love it here. There are so many “Just look at that view” roads 😀😀
That was a great trip out and a cooking program thrown in was a plus. Please practice a little on yer chips….😉🤣🤣 Really enjoyed and the wife was impressed with the fact you had a whole kitchen with you.
Good tip adding a little water to what ever spirit you use to help cut down on soot. Also I add a single sheet of kitchen cloth, or paper, between each of the pots and kettle. Prevents soot transfer and stops any rattling of the kit when packed. Also something like a Flextail air pump to easily inflate your air mat, also has a built in lamp so you can see to cook. Very small, charge lasts a long time and can hang from the hook on the tent ceiling.
Good evening I’m new to your channel and enjoying it just to say I have the same setup and the Mototent is absolutely brilliant really love mine and fits on my Himalayan brilliant
As much as I tried I could not for the life of me see the brand on that sleeping bag ! Looked nice and wide at the feet end .....put me out of my misery and let me know what it is please ? 😅
Great video, love a bit of camping. Opinel knives for food prep are brilliant, No:8 in my kit 👌🏼 Loved those gloves, are they still on the open market?
Hi Dave, great content. can I ask what fuel you use in your trangia? I have the same stove but never a flame like that? I currently use methylated spirit. Cheers Richard
Hi Richard, I use Bioethanol, I haven't tried methylated spirit. The burn is very good, too good at times. How do you find the simmer ring? for me it tends to dull the flame too much even when fully open. Ride safe, Dave
@@thatblokeonamotorbike same here in regards to the simmer ring, though I’ll retry after working it loose similar to yourself. Maybe see you on the road? I’m based in Chesterfield so often on the same roads as you
What could possibly be better? Loved the film thank you for producing and sharing it with us. Cheers! Tony.

Hi, i love the tent, I nearly went this week but the ground was too wet.

Enjoyed that, Dave. It's impressive what you can carry on a relatively small bike. Thanks 👍
Nice one, Dave; looks like you have a good little set-up and pretty-well sorted. 👍

What a fantastic video, really enjoyed watching you on your little break away. Looks a nice set up.
Great video 😎
A nice set up.
One of the most satisfying videos... I'm compiling a camp setup and this helps tremendously.
Beautiful countryside! Glorious sunshine! Great video!
Great overnighter Dave. Nice video. 👍
That is an impressive bit of kit piled upon that motorbike, Dave! Thanks for the insight into your moto camping setup. Tim

That just sums it all up grate little get away from it all.👍
Looks like a great way to escape to the peace and quiet for a short while. Do you ever get any idiots roaming around at night at these remote places?
Great video Dave

Hi, ittsthe Trangia 27, I love it. I use bio ethanol for a cleaner burn.
Ride safe, Dave
Hi have you tried using Methanol instead of meths? it burns clean, no soot and is about £18 for 5 litres on Amazon
I must admit that I can never see the attraction of camp cooking - it looks like a lot of messy work!
Hi, it is, but I love it. Ride safe, Dave
